Well they're 9 weeks old today - 7 of them are off to their new homes this weekend, with the 2 tabbies remaining with me for another 2 weeks (their new owners are on holiday). So (sniff) this is the last time I will post their pics! It was fun, I will miss them but it's good to know that they're off to their new loving homes....

Ive followed your story and Flora's from the beginning and fell in love with all the kittens from the start. You and Flora have done a wonderful job and now they are going off into the big wide world to be spoiled rotten for the rest of their lives. I know you have got wonderful homes for them so good luck to the kit and congratulations to you :best:

Oh no ... no more kitten pics .. Denise I assume you will be passing on the forum details and address to the new owners (just in case they need any advice etc) and with any luck they will update us on how how their little bundles of trouble are getting on.

Yes Flora is going to go to my sister's! So I'll be able to see her all the time, which is good as I've got very attached to her. She's going to be spayed on Wednesday and recuperate over Christmas and then off to her new home in the new year.

I will let the new owners know of this site. Luckily a lady where I work is taking two ginger boys, so will have regular photos of them!

I feel quite sad they are going and know they will be loved in their new homws. Shows why I could never foster!
They are so beautiful and yes I think Missy suits the tortie great.
So pleased you will be able to keep tabs on some of them and that you will be able to see the fantastic Flora.
I hope there owneres will come and visit us here on Purrs ;D

Yes! I remember because she seemed to be pregnant for AGES!!! Not surprised growing 9 inside her! Amazing how quickly it's gone and how grown up they are. Two of them have got a slight heart murmer, but the vet said it was nothing to worry about.

Aw, I'm going to miss pics and updates of these little lads and lasses :Luv: They seem to have grown up so quickly. Hope to hear updates of Flora and at least some of her offspring in the future! Would be lovely to see pics of some of the kits when they're bigger. I'm very jealous of your colleague having 2 of the ginger boys! :Luv: :Luv: I so love ginger boys.

I'm dreading tonight - the first two are off at around 7pm and then 3 are going tomorrow and 2 on Sunday - hope that Flora won't hate me too much.

Aww, they are lovely, and it is wonderful that such a large litter has done so well, and mum doesn't actually look that bad. You have done a wonderful job, and Flora will be prod, and you should be proud of yourself too.

I wil def miss seeing their pics they have grown soo quick.
It would be great if new slaves joined so we know how they are getting on. We need to know where they are so we can plan the next catnappin mission! ;D ;)

piccie of missy is perfect... Its so hard having to hand over your kitty babes..So glad I now have the policy of spaying all my furbabes as having to find homes for the little ones always tugs on my heartstrings!!

Dear all,
I took home one of Flora's kittens yesterday, a ginger boy named Elvis. He is settling in really well, and at this very moment is sitting on my right shoulder, fast asleep!!! This seems to be his favourite place so far.
I will post some piccies on here as soon as I have downloaded them.
Thanks denise for giving him such a great start. I hope Flora is ok.

Flora is very beautiful . fine head and lovely colour. Can't think how I missed this thread completly? :doh: Won't take long for her to recover now she is home and being spolit by you. What an amazing mum
You sure take some superb pictures . What setting do you use on your camera and what software do you use for re-sizing the images ? come on tell us all :evillaugh:
Ahh I see now......... they are all more than double the 50K size limit ..naughty ! :evillaugh: no wonder they are so big and good definition ;)

I've heard from a few people who have given the kittens new homes and they're all fine and thriving. Flora is amazing - she's a lovely girl and steadily putting on weight.
Nick, re settings on camera, etc, I have no idea! I just point, aim and fire - the software I think is Fujipix or something (I'm not very technical am I !) and I didn't realise that I'm exceeding the size limit - as I said I'm not very PC!!!

I'm glad the kittens are doing well. It sounds as though it is going to be hard for you to let Flora go. It must be hard not to get attached, especially with all Flora has been through recently.

It would be hard to let Flora go, but she's going to my sister so I'll see her all the time anyway - although I'll probably drive my sis round the bend making sure she's doing everything right!!!
