Have copied this from another forum i posted it on
Well this morning my mum had set out the house a little late to catch the bus (to go to the doctors) so while she was waiting to catch another one she found a small cat in the grass so she though nothing of it and a few mins later it tried to get up and was trying to drag its back legs my mum ran over to it and she said one of its back legs was badly twisted so she picked it up and then the bus came she asked the bus driver where he localvets was and he said he was going past there so the bus driver let my mum on the bus (she didnt have to pay) and my mum said while she was on the bus the cat kept crying and was pushing his head under her arm when she got to the vets they rushed him off and they told my mum he will need an op on his back leg
and when my mum on her way back she found £10.00 and caught a taxi back home
she going to put posters up some posters tomorrow too
hope you could understand that
ETA:
my mum has just rang up the vets and they said his back leg is badly broken and he has breathing difficulties and my mum said its the same vets that she took T.C to
ETA Again:
My mum has rang the Cats Protection League and they said that they will take in the cat and pay for any vet fees
they said that it would cost £200.00-300.00

Poor little cat, hope he/she makes a speedy recovery  Is your Mum in the UK or Canada? I noticed in your other post that you're from Canada (or at least the poll your cat is in is Canadian :))

Hi all,
we live in the UK (North wales)
my mum has rang all the local vets,Cats protection leauge and other cat rescues just in case the owner rings up
my mum said the vets said he has no chip and my mum said she would have had him and payed for all his bill but we cant cuz one of our 3 dogs might try and eat him

Ahh poor little lad .... it might be an idea to put up some Found posters in the area your mum found him just in case he has a mummy and daddy looking for him.
Don't put too much info on the posters other than the basic and make sure anyone that contacts you about him can prove he is theiirs.
I would also check this site to see if there are any lost notices http://www.nationalpetregister.org you can also put up a found notice on there.

I found a cat that I thought had been run over a few years ago. It was down the road from the flat I used to rent. Anyway was driving home & I saw this cat lying on the road by the curb. I parked my car up & approached the cat who I stroked & she looked old & so ill & weak.. I picked up the cat & knocked on the neighbours doors. Spoke to one lady & she said "Oh he's back" and went on to say that she was feeding her a few months ago but she dissapeared. I put her in my car & drove to the vets I used to live above - only 1 min away & bought a box to take her to the RSPCA centre. I didnt even think of asking the vet to see her ? (How stupid thinking back)
Anyway put the poor little girl in the box & drove 12 miles to the RSPCA Centre, got there & it had closed >:(
The only thing for it was to take her home with me untill the morning. To cut a long story short I had her untill the Monday morning. Got so attached to her ..
This is turning out to be very long sorry ! On the Monday morning I took her in & left her with RSPCA & I cried my eyes out all the way home as I just wasnt too hopeful for her future really.
Drove back home, turned round the corner & saw the posters on the lamp post
HAVE YOU SEEN CAMILLA
Called the number & found which house she was from & knocked on the door. A girl answered the door & the first thing she said was "Is she dead?" I told her no but she is in a very bad way at the RSPCA Centre. She them went on to explain that she was very elderly, had a tumor & is always kept indoors but got out with the builders were in. I think they had been advised that Camilla should of been put down as she was worried about that. She went & got her back home & called to say thankyou.
Poor little Camilla.. my car is named after her :Luv:!
