This morning, kylie was doing it. I remember reading a thread about senility - she is 8 so a bit early for that?
She doesn't usually meouw that much and if she does, its a high-pitched squeak. She does chirrup at me all the time though :Luv:
She has been sleeping on the bed again for the last few nights but this morning I had stripped the bed so it would have looked different to her - could it have just been that?
I have put OH's fleece on the bed and she is curled up fast asleep now - hopefully its nothing.
Maybe time to remove one of her other beds? - she has beds in 3 other places at the moment as well as ours

cant answer but hope shes ok Mark :)

maybe just a wee protest :evillaugh: hope she's ok now

ESther does this at intervals. It usually means she is hungry, or there is some noise outside that only she can hear which is bothering her or some other sort of disturbance. Sometimes it is just cos its full moon :-:
-
Max will do this if he sees Freda outside, or any other cat for that matter. I'm sure he's protesting that he's not allowed out to see his little girlfriend, he's such a tart :evillaugh:

She seems fine now. Maybe she was just attention seeking :evillaugh:

Mine do this about spiders sometimes - I think it can be a "look at me!" thing... if she's OK now and not showing any sign of any problem then I'd say you're safe to relax. :)

She's back to her old kylie self now :Luv:
It was just out of character. She used to do it when I first got her over 5 years ago. She would cry really loudly in the hallway at night. I would call her onto the bed and she was happy. Maybe she was just a bit confused after deciding to go back to bed and it was all messed up. She is so low maintenance otherwise :Luv:

yes, i sometimes think that Esther's yawping is because all the rest of us have gone upstairs and she has just realised she has been deserted. Once I call her and she locates the sound (and subsequently the people) she comes upstairs and joins us and is fine.

She is female Mark, what do you expect ??

deffo sounds like a protest :evillaugh:
Cosmo's just found his voice and he's constantly squeaking at us if he's not getting fussed, fed or wants to be let out and we've decided he can't! He's also getting louder >:(
-
:Luv: she is beautiful Mark, probably just keeping you on your toes :evillaugh:
Glad shes ok now

I think it was a protest cos you took her bed away ;D
Franta does this and its war if I want to change the bed. Neither birman like it and one will hop on and I left him off anf when I turn round again then the other is on the bed, takes forever cos they dont get the message very quickly!
Franta also protests when he thinks he has not had enough strokes or cuddles...........and he has just comin meowing ...............sigh
