Riley has almost bitten my hand off... not for fresh meat, cheese or kittymilk but for some plain cooked pasta  Does anyone know if it's OK for cats to eat plain cooked pasta (with no salt added to the water)? Wasn't sure with it being carbohydrate whether it's suitable for their digestive systems. He only had two pieces but would happily have had more :shy: Lucas looked at me like I was deranged when I offered him some after having seen Riley go crazy for it :evillaugh:

a single piece should be ok, but wouldn't make a meal of it. Are you sure it was the pasta, and not the sauce (or even the olive oil)??
-
Oh good, I think 2 pieces will be his limit then :evillaugh: They were completely dry plain bits of pasta, I made sure they had no sauce anywhere near them as the sauce had garlic in.

I bought a cat food once that had pieces of pasta in! ;D A few pieces won't do him any harm.

That Riley

I agree a bit is fine as its only wheat. Lets face it, most cat food is nearly all cereal (though not good)

Lirael has in the past swiped pasta off my husbands plate.
she's since learned better, well a little ;)
