have heard of cats costing that much, not sure if it is the same. That amount could run a rescue for quite a while!!

I have seen these cats before.  They are not bengals.  They are derived from crossing an Asian Leopard Cat with a Serval and then crossing in a domestic cat to ensure they dilute the wild blood.  The Asian Leopard cat is used in the breeding of bengals and the Serval for Savannahs.  What they have done is put these 2 wild cats together to 'create' a new breed.

I know thank heavens for "Photobucket"    ;)

Ive just seen the slide show and they are huge.....sorry for my ignorance Linda, i still think some of your bengalies have the look of these, just smaller versions  :Luv: :Luv: ;)

ps...are you getting fed up with looking like a tree?  :evillaugh:

Yes they do look similar - am glad they are not that size though Ruth  :evillaugh:

The size comes off the serval which can grow to be around 40lbs.  The ALC is actually quite a small cat averaging around 14lbs for a male and smaller for a female  :)
