Sharon had a call from a lady that said her neighbour breeds kittens and when the queens get to about 2 years old, they vanish :(
Anyway, the current one keeps coming in her garden. She reported the neighbour to "you know who" and they said they will visit in 3 weeks time to investigate >:(
In the meantime she was worried about the fate of this beautiful silver tabby girl. I am pleased to report "Sadie" is now enjoying a luxury pen complete with her own sofa and a large run - will be spayed tomorrow and made ready to go to a home where she will be loved for the beautiful affectionate cat she is rather than a money-making machine.

Poor girl and pleased she is safe now ;D

>:( >:( >:( Some people really annoy me.
Well done the nice caring neighbour, and well done you and Sharon for helping this poor little girl xxx
-
Sounds like the A team has been in action again! Well done guys ;)
-
The lady was lovely. She had a CP sticker in her window and cat photos all over the place. She said she would have kept Sadie but it would have upset her 17 year old cat - also she just lost her 19 year old cat who had a stroke :'(
I asked her if the was the original mad cat lady and she said she was :evillaugh:
She even said thank you for giving your time to do this :shy: - it's nice :)
-
Am glad another little one has been saved, and can't have any more babies.

Well done Mark, the neighbour sounds lovely. Sadie sounds like she deserves to be spoilt rotten.
No words quite fit how I feel about backyard breeders - scum comes quite close though!!
-
I just collected &delivered her. Sharon has to feed & entertain her :evillaugh:
-
Well done guys....do we not get a picture of this lucky girl? :(
-
Phew!!! I panicked there, thought something had happened to my sister :evillaugh:
So glad this babe has been put in safe hands ;)

I forgot the camera - I'm sure there will be one to follow. Sharon lives about 6 miles from me so I won't be going over to take a snapshot :evillaugh:
-
Well done!!! :wow:
-
was she a pedigree cat Mark? if not who breeds kittens? I am being so naive to think that people didn't purposely breed moggies
-
She wasn't pedigree, although she is a beautiful tabby :Luv:
There is always a market for kittens. They just put cards in the co-op & newsagents and annoyingly some vets allow people to put cards up. Its crazy that people will pay £30 -£50 (sometimes more) for an unneutered cat that hasn't had so much as a check up or de-flea, let alone jabs - when they could go to a rescue and get a healthy one for a modest donation.
A typical card reads
Lovely kittens for sale £50 each. fully toilet trained ( )
-
so that is me being naive then! Glad you saved her poor babe
