Title: Strange question about a tail
Post by: Liza on December 06, 2006, 09:47:56 AM
Very bizarre question but..............does anyone know why every time we stroke on of our kits her tail curls up into a circle (its almost like a monkeys tail) and she's been known to attach it around your wrists.  She's certainly not scared as she purrs away and rubs up against you and her tail is not between her legs either.

Do I need to be worried about this (incase is a real problem) or should I just accept this as one of her moggy quirks.........

Thanks

PS she's always done this - now 7mths

Doesn't sound like anything to worry about to me she sounds like a very happy kitty who has one of those very curly tails.

If you read the following thread there are some great pics showing cat tail position and what it means:

Most cats tails lie to one side especially in the greeting pose (when the tail goes up in the air). Some will curl over and others just lean a little to one side or another. This is perfectly normal.
