Well the Ollie-boy has had horrible diahorrea three times  , thrown up the tiny bit of cat milk he took from a syringe undigested, and is sitting in the middle of the room looking sorry for himself. So once the taxi's here we're off to the vets... wish us luck.
Hoping it's just steroid withdrawal as he's been on a regular dose for a long time and I've run out and need to ask nice Uncle Vet for some more, but god knows really.
-
oh poor ollie (and poor you when you see the bank manager). Hope he is feeling better soon.
-
Good Luck Ollie at the vets old son :Luv:
>Becca hope all is okay with him
-
I do hope Ollie is Ok and if he has been on steroids for a long time, yes he will need them
-
How did Ollie get on at the vets? Hope he's OK
-
Fingers crossed the vets had positive news for you Becca.
-
How is Ollie, Rebecca?
-
oh dear I dont like this no news, hope Becca is just busy.
-
>Ditto :scared:

Sorry ladies, me blinking internet went wrong.
Very nice emergency vet gave him some short-acting steroid and an antibiotic, waiting today and then off to our usual vets tomorrow if I can make it.
Ollie's still hanging on but to be honest I'm starting to think he's had enough. He's not interested in food or drink at all, he's still happy to be cuddled but he hasn't said anything properly to me for a few days now.
So off to nice uncle Simon tomorrow and we'll see what he thinks.
PDSA are covering the emergency bill, I think, otherwise it'll have to go on a credit card.
-
So pleased to hear from you and that Ollie has had his medicine. I hope Ollie will be OK
-
Fingers crossed for him today, but if he has had enough, I know you will do the best for him, and he has had such a good time in your care.
-
:luck: for the vets today
-
Hope all is okay with Ollie
-
How is Ollie?

Any news, I hate this not knowing it makes me sick with worry
Hope alls well Ollie and Becca
-
Jeeesh sorry - internet still wrong and I've got myself a dose of "fresher's
flu cold" just to top things off.
The Olliemonster had a second vet visit on Tuesday and was given another antibiotic jab and his usual depo-medrone. He's started to perk up nicely, slowly but surely - methinks I'm fostering the Rubber Cat, so many times has he bounced back.
Just spent a small fortune on Applaws to tempt his newly-recovered appetite - a mog cannot live on tuna alone...
-
I am so pleased Ollie is bouncing back
Keep on bouncing son!
-
Well, you know Ollie is one of my favourite cats on this planet (a high accolade ;D) so I am thrilled to hear he is defying all the odds :wow:
-
Great that he has bounced back. I know the feeling only too well. It feels good
-
Phew!! Well done Ollie at the vets....he is indeed made of rubber :Luv:
-
Aww, am glad to hear that.
-
Great news :Luv:
-
Well the Snotty Git purred all the way through his Applaws this evening and is now belly-up on the sofa and making ferocious growly noises at anyone that threatens to interfere :Luv:
He came upstairs to say hello earlier too.
So far, so good...
-
He sounds lovely ;D
-
Ollie died this evening; it would've been a year next Wednesday.
There's a post in the Rainbow Bridge forum now.

I am so sorry and am going there now
