Has pulled a muscle in his lil leg. Before bed last night I went down to give them a few of those milky flake-um things like I do every night, he was fine. I went up to bed and 10 minutes later he came limping into the bedroom. I couldn't see anything in his paw. By this morning he wasn't putting it on the floor at all. Off to the vet. Here was me telling her about his hopping about on 3 paws this morning, took him out of the carrier and he strutted about the floor just as normal :rofl: I was mortified! She says he's been milking it at home to get spoilt. There's nothing in his paw so she said he's got a pulled muscle. Which doesn't surprise me with the way those 3 jump around with each other. He got a painkiller injection and if he's no better next week he's to go back. Poor lil man :Luv:

poor wee laddy. Mind you,they do bungit on for sympathy if they think they can get away with it. I have had them 'limping' for years whenever they know i am about. You can tell though cos sometimes they forget which leg to limp on and other times they forget to limp at all, but suddenly find themselves maimed and injured when they spot you watching them :rofl:

:rofl: Poor little man!
My Meesha has done that twice! Both times I contacted the vet, but I now realise that when it's a little sprain or pulled muscle it heals everso quickly! She just HAS to rush everywhere, so sometimes loses her footing :Crazy:
-
:evillaugh: Yes Lexy does that.. often. She starts to limp and because of her surgeries I freak out, thinking she's pulled a tendon again. She turns it on and off like tap. Minx.

*ahem* Meeko the sneako :sneaky: :rofl:
Glad to hear its nothing serious....they do love making fools of us :evillaugh:

:rofl: :rofl: I'm glad I waited til the morning and didn't get the emergency vet! He's limping ever so slightly now but seems fine. I dunno how long the injection lasts for? I think he must have jumped down off something and had a bad landing

poor Meeko, the little scamp ;D
It will probably get better quickly as he is only young and not too heavy
-
Poor Meeko :hug: I'm sure the vets see it all the time, the mysterious disappearing illness :evillaugh: The boys send him a healing head kiss each, they say to tell him to keep hopping at home for a bit longer though as he's bound to get more milky flake ums :drool;

it has always been my theory that it is the cat's way of paying you back for all the times they get taken to the vet when, in their view, there is nothing wrong (e.g. for jabs etc). They take you there and humiliate you in front of the vet in the hope this will teach you it is not a good idea to take them there ... :evillaugh:

Has to be... Lexy makes a liar out of me ALL the time.. sad really, I know she does.. yet I fall for it each time..

I hope he doesn't make a habit of it cos I didn't know where to look! Still a very slight limp but he's fine.
