Title: kitten's sore leg

my boyfriend has just stood on the leg of my 5 1/2 week old kitten. he can't put weight on it. although i've felt it and it seems fine and he makes no noise when i touch and squeeze it. i'm so worried.  might be trip the vets later  :scared: poor thing

Aaawwwwwww poor thing, thought it was China who had sore eye, cheesy blobs as a bribe from BF, can you call vet for advice

I would definately take him to the vets just in case he is in pain - poor little thing  :ahh:

I would definately call the vet, 51/2 weeks is pretty small to be stepped on - hope it's not poor China!

Cats are amazingly good at hiding pain so best to go to the vets.
At that age its best to keep them contained in one small area for their own safety.

thanks guys, it's not china it's coco.

luckily was just the side of boyfriend's foot. he feels awful!

but coco is now running on it like nothing happened.

that's millys mum the are just in one bedroom, the kitten room. he darted under his foot.

called the vet, we are going at 6pm.

Hope your babies are OK! I had a siamese too, he was so special but we lost him in RTA. I still have a very soft spot for them!

Good to know you are going to the vet. Their wee bones have not formed properly at that age so it can cause all sorts of complications later in life if there is any damage.

 :yayyy: so happy!
his leg is fine the vet says. i may have made it sound more dramatic..... he really didn't crush him, just caught him a little. Vet felt all around, pulled it, moved it etc... coco was fine. he is walking and running. he would like to x ray but we have to go back tomorrow.

4th trip to the vet this week. so far we've paid £83 n vet bills this week  :-:

i think the x ray may bump it up too. ahh well x
