I used the CP one yesterday. I swapped it for one that looked a bit nicer the other week but only realised last night that there was a split and 2 of the clips were missing so the wire front kept coming out. I had to hold it together. When I got to Gillians, she put it in the bin. I think the wire ones are more secure. I want one with a tray in the bottom. The only issue is the cats mightfeel a bit vulnerable so wondered if you can get a cover for them with an opening so the cat cat see a bit without feeling totally exposed?
Any ideas?
Also, they are probably easier to clean.

I think I've seen them in argos

Vet UK have the dogs crates on offer, or at least they did, and if you get one via one of the charity sites even better.
Oops I think now you may mean a cat carrier.

Try ebay Mark.. there are loads of pet stores on there :)

I have a big one that the birmans came in but no tray at bottom. I put a towel over it at one end so Sasa can hide or all over it if Misa is shouting. Just leave the door end uncovered so he can see me.
I dont know where you can get them though and treckon they very expensive. On this one the top is rounded and all one end opens as a door which means that I can trap Sasa and then she can rush in.....................why does the door always open on the wrong side tho

I have found these but there are only 2 hon -

Thats very small, be Ok for a little cat or a kitten maybe, mines big enough to allow Misa to sit up and he is a big boy so its gotta be at least 18inches high maybe bigger and 24 inches at least long and approx 18 inches wide, will get round to measuring it but not seen anything similiar for sale.

Thanks Ruth,
I'm sure she posted one direct from the manufacturer that was cheaper than that?
Otherwise, I'll order that one - just need to check the regular one is big enough for big cats.

P+P quite high but still cheaper than what the vets sell. The 18"x12"x12" is fine for an average cat ;D also this site sells the plastic trays aswell.

Thanks for that - I just remembered that I saw one in our local garden/feed centre so will compare prices if they still have them (Alos Sharon had one - maybe I can hunt that one down - sorry but I am very economical :evillaugh: )

Hi Mark
Just seen this.. If you dont mind abit of rust you can have my small second hand white emergency pen.. I have a kitten pen brought for myself a while back.. If you just want a new wire cat carrier then email me of line and i can see we get to sort you one out... I am abit confused as to what you need. If you are kind enough to do CP work for us then we can certaintly help out with the equipment...!
Thanks for the homecheck!!
