Good Morning,
I wanted to share the Newsday article http://ouidzine.com/_newsday.pdf (http://ouidzine.com/_newsday.pdf)on pet gifts - there are some wonderful ideas available this year.
I found something for everyone - except my old dog. He doesn't have interest in anything - if anyone has ideas for an old dog, please let me know.
Thanks!

awww bless him, a nice blanket? A bed and a snugglesafe heatpad (do they make them for dogs too?)
-
What about a heated pad for his bed? I bought one for Bertie to keep him cosy as he has a bad leg.
I got ours from this site. I ordered one day are got it the next.

Have a look at the Puddle Pet care site ... I'm sure there must be something for a old dog on there :)

I sympathise with trying to find an Xmas gift for an old dog. I remember, before I lost mine, being in Petsmart and bursting into tears (to the amusement of my daughter) because I couldn't find anything for her for Xmas. Eventually settled for a nice padded cushion which she absolutely adored. Good luck

Awww.. It makes me feel a bit sad too, it reminds me of my bfs old dog who died this year so sadly wont need a Christmas present this year :(
He had a nice big soft cushion he liked to lie on :)

Because we always adopt old cats we have this problem, so what we tend to buy is practical things like beds, blankets, and of course food etc. I think these are appreciated more than toys.

How about a little stand for his dishes (I've seen them in argos cheaper than the petshop) so he doesn't have to lower his head too much to eat? If he's an old man, his joints might be a little creaky.
