Title: FIZZY
Post by: Ela on September 12, 2007, 16:10:52 PM
At 6.3O tonight my daughters cat FIZZY will be gently PTS, he is at the moment on a drip but he has no quality of life and bloods show he will not recover. Julie and my Husband are going to say goodbye as he goes to Rainbow Bridge. Her husband will stay with the children who are distraught, but they helped make the decision that it was the right thing to do.

Fizzy is now about 18 but came into care  about 16 years ago after he had been kicked so hard his patella was in bits. Somehow after a time he managed to walk remarkably well.

Fizzy went very peacefully and just nuzzled into the vets hand as she was injecting. Emma (vet) said gently as he was going 'go play with the birdies'. Oh! dear now I am in tears again.

I am sorry to hear this Ela, but your daughter gave him a good life, and did the best by him at the end. RIP little one.
