My friend & I were comparing vets tonight. None of mine will take pills but her vet (who is next door to me) gives her frontline and another spot on (can't remember the name) that you give them 2 days later for the tapeworm. I wonder why my vet doesn't offer it?
Edit - just googled and although its not the one my friend uses, I just learned you can get droncit spot on so I could treat my cats myself. Time to drop the money grabbing vet

yes mine are given spot on wormer at vets except Misa who takes a sweetie and is still surprised about it ;D
-
i am doing the mum cat I have here with Stronghold and Droncit, might be an expensive way of doing it though.

There is also now a spot on wormer called Profender that does roundworm and tapeworm. Only available from Vets and more expensive than tablets but better value for money if, like me, it takes about four attempts to get tablets in your cat.

That was the one my friend had ;D
Its really annoying as she got it from the vet next door to me :evillaugh:
They seem a lot cheaper too.
she got 6 months Frontline and profender for 2 cats, ditto for one dog, consultation and antibiotics for the dog. Total was £119.00

Gulp >:(

If she bought her frontline online she would save even more ;D

You would still need to treat for roundworm tho
