Guys I'm feeling absolutely awful about this... but it seems that one of my beloved girlies is, in fact, the One That Ate All The Pies.
Is there anything obvious I ought to be doing apart from making sure I'm not overfeeding her and trying to get her more active through play? She's a gentle, laid-back, snoozy type, if you get my drift...
I don't know how much she actually weighs but I'm pretty sure that it's more than is sensible.

I had to get my boy to lose some weight, and the main thing I had to do was reduce the amount of dry food he was eating, as it is much higher in calories than wet food. And of course get him running around a bit more, and reduce the amount of treats being given, if any. It made me feel very mean at first, but it was for his own good :evillaugh:
Not sure what to suggest really, will Letty chase laser dots and things like that? That's what I got Maxy doing, made him run around for ages (well until he got bored and worked out the dot was coming from my hand :evillaugh:)
Have you got Da Bird yet? That could be another thing to get her running about?
-
Yes you need da bird!
Today the vet said Lola needs to eat more dry food cos her teeth are abit scaley and then in the next breath says she has put on weight since her last visit and i need to get that off. Aint gonna happen if shes scoffing more biscuits!
If you can get Letty to eat more wet food than dry it might help.

Misa has lost weight over the year, not a lot but he has been eating fewer biscuits and reckon thats why.
Definately a da birdy is needed, if you can handle one ;D

Defo try Da Bird, lazer pens, more wet food, less dry food. I got Lucy a treat ball this week, it doesn't give treats very easily so she can spend ages nudging it round for a few pieces!!
MM, I would try plaque off and logic gel rather than more dry for scaley teeth.

Desley, Lola wont tolerate logic gel :scared: :scared: iv got plaque off on the go already. Iv been behind on their chicken wing offerings and she hasnt hunted much this year so think its that.

Ah right!!
