Title: It's a good job I love him
Post by: Susanne (urbantigers) on August 30, 2007, 21:11:10 PM
Mosi's had me running around in circles tonight.  Talk about demanding.  He's had me trying to come up with new games for hours.  Every toy I brought out was so last week.  Even da bird is of little interest today (it'll probably be back in favour next week).  Any attempt to do something else (like feed myself or come on here) was met with "WAAAHHH" which is Mosi speak for "Get your attention back here, slave".  After a couple of hours of trying every toy in the cupboard and crawling around on the carpet playing hide and seek, I was feeling rather exasperated and actually went for a short drive to get away from him for a while as the whining and constant demands for attention were driving me mad.  Once I was back he decided the feline flyer was the toy of the day and has spent the last hour running and somersaulting and having a great time.  He's actually having a little breather now but I suspect we'll see a bit more action before I flop into bed exhausted.  Perhaps half an hour with the laser.   It's a good job I love the little monkey.  And that I don't have a social life.

And that I don't have a social life.

Whats that? lol. If I spend too much time focussed on the computer, first Smidgen sits on the keyboard, then he commences to create havoc with the house, then he picks on Esther, then when I finally decide to go to bed, and provide him with a nice warm nest, what does he do??
He walks over my face, over my body, under the sheets, over the sheets, jumps on the poor dog who is trying to sleep alongside the bed, then back to me, all the time purring loudly and endlessly. Good thing for him he is so cute ...

Of course now that Mosi's settled down Jaffa's here demanding attention.  He's currently sitting in front of the screen and flicking his tail on the keyboard.  So I'm just typing this without seeing the screen and will try to look around him to have  aquick check to make sure there aren't too many typos.  Cats eh?  A slave's work is never done.

Have to agree about something in the air ..... Max hardly settled at all last night, he must have woken me up at least every 2 hours by jumping around the bedroom or dibbing things he shouldn't have been dibbing .......... sooooo tired today  :tired:

I take it all back - the little lad can be as naughty as he likes so long as he gets through his operation ok and comes home to his meowmy very soon (see thread in health and behaviour)

A friend of mine said her cat is going crazy at the moment. She said she doesn't believe in astrology, but Zellie always goes nuts around the full moon!!!

Maybe there's something in the air ... Bertie has steadfastly ignored my OH for the last 2 years, but has been following him around like a puppy since earlier this week.  At present, OH is digging in the garden and Bertie is crying at the window!
