Last November i got some new neighbours who have 2 female cats, one is 2 the other is 10 yr old. Recently the older cat has started fighting with my Cleo. It's got to the point now where Cleo won't go outside if that cat is there as she goes for her, she's started spraying urine at the side of my bed and at the back door even though she has a litter tray downstairs!!
The vets say that could be caused by stress, i've tried being outside with her when the neighbours cat is out, tried feli-way and all the sprays available from the vets for when she's in the house but nothing helps. Any suggestions, next doors cat has just had hold of her now fighting and luckily it was next doors cat that came back with a scratched nose, poor little Cleo was unharmed.
I'm moving house tomorrow and Saturday but only to the house at the back of mine so Cleo will still have to see this cat!! It's a bully!!!! My neighbours think it's because their cat fancies Jet and is jealous of Cleo living with him. :scared:

Wish I could offer some advice but only thing I can think of is cat proofing your garden so the other cat cant get in.

Hi thanks, i'm just hoping that when we move Cleo spends more time at the front of the house away from this cats house!! It's awful she's like a prisoner

Hope front is not on a road. please make sure she is safe ;D

No luckily it's a very secure garden at the front, i'm on a cul-de-sac off a cul-de-sac (if that makes sense!) Only cars that come down here and from the 4 houses that live in this area. When i chose the house it was the cats i put before me, estate agent laughed at me when they asked why i'd chosen that one - because it was the safest for my cats!!!!!
