Title: Lacto B - WOW !!!
Post by: sheryl on August 27, 2007, 19:36:15 PM
 ;D

Very pleased to say that the Lacto B definately works - I have been giving them both a small dose every night since Tuesday along with feeding them Bozita (thanks Helen) and they have the delicate biccies inbetween and poos have been "normal" since Friday - thanks for all the helpful suggestions - we really appreciate the help.

I gave them "Spot on" today for the first time today so Im not very popular, its been a nightmare all day trying to stop them washing each other and biting each others necks !!!

I'm glad the bozita and/or Lacto B has worked!  Mine like bozita too.  Animonda carny goes down well here too.

I bought Willow some new hairball paste the other day and I got one I haven't used before made by Sherley's. It is a combined hairball/prebiotic paste. It has stripes like toothpaste  :evillaugh: only beige & brown  (got it in PAH)

I have some acidophilus tablets from Holland & Barrett. You take 2 a day. I had some guests recently who said that thy are so good, the didn't have an upset stomach travelling in India. - I don't know how they kept them cool though as you have to keep them in the fridge as the heat kills the bacteria - you aren't even allowed to have them with a hot drink.

is lacto b similar to protinix from Vet UK ? i am giving this to my cat tabby who has had the trotts for months it has worked a bit but his poo is still runny. He is on simple food but is loosing weight. He is FIV so this may be casuing it. The vvet wants to see him tomorroe thinks he may be HYper T but I am not convinced.

Don't know if they are similar - you can ge lacto b from Vetuk too. Its common for hyperT cats to have the runs, my Elsa did before she was diagnosed.
