As it's a lovely sunny day I have the back door open so the babies can wander in and out as they please. Anyway I have just come downstairs and guess what I have found in the front room .......
How gorgeous is he ... he is a beautiful pale creamy ginger and a real purr monster ... and definitely not at all phased by the fact this is not his house!
-
Aww he looks just like our beloved Harley who is not at the bridge.
How adorable is he? He looks well looked after though, maybe he is just popping to yours for a glass of milk and a chat
-
Mine please - he is gorgeous. Any chance of a red currant attack and a delivery to Chatham?? He is so adorable I could just smooch him!!!
-
Definitely well looked after ... he's very solid and his fur is clean, soft and he smells nice so he has a home. I sat on the floor and he came over for a headrub. He likes Royal Canin biccies  He 's had a bit of a munch and now sauntered off.
-
Thats funny, I had a little cat trying to get into my house last night, it was falling over its self for a stroke lol.
-
Oh what a gorgeous boy he is! :Luv:
-
He is absolutely gorgeous sam :Luv:
You should maybe put a paper collar on saying he's been visiting houses just incase his owners didnt know (he's so lush they should be worried someone may serously steal him), or maybe he isnt supposed to be outside ?
-
Aww, he's sweet. :)
I think he is allowed outside Lynn. Looks like he has a collar on.
-
Yeah he has a collar on and I have caught a glimpse of him a few times walking along the fence so I think he must live nearby. He has one of those barrels with name and address information inside ... but he appears to have lost the bottom bit. If he hasn't got a new one the next time I see him I will put a paper collar on him letting his mummy know he has been round :)
-
Very beautiful boy and, like most well looked after cats, not at all fazed by going into someone else's house!
-
:Luv: he is adorable, nice visitor
-
He's absolutely gorgeous :Luv: :Luv: :Luv: But I would be wary about feeding him as he may be on a special diet or something? Just a thought...
-
I totally agree Cat-Jane .... I didn't actually "feed" him ... he stole the biccies on his way out!

Ooooh, what a scrummy boy :Luv: I would have been tempted to close the door :shify: :evillaugh:
-
:wow:
He's a handsome chap.
Although he's obviously well cared for I bet 'as good as he looks' you wouldn't mind adding him to the gang?
My dad is forever getting cats wander into his garden be it feral or other people's. My dad is a real cat magnet.
I'm not allowed neighbour cats in the house Missy says so :sneaky: >:(
Ebony went through about 30 collars before we gave up putting them on her she was microchipped though.
Missy used to have a thingy tag that unscrews and was always losing the 2nd bit, obviously cats are so much more clever
than we are she probably got down the road and though daft people I don't want loads of cats or humans round we'll just
unscrew the tag and get the paper out and eat it - cause she's a natural shredder lol
Merlin well he has a collar but no proper tag YET
Do you get many cats wander into your house?
-
I thought gill or ruth might have had a visitor today but nope, 1 clang of a cat food tin and a certain black booger came running :tired:
-
:wow:
Do you get many cats wander into your house?
No ... Zephyr is normally very stroppy and won't let anyone in the house (apart from Lucky who lives next door).
But I do get loads of cats in the garden ... I think it's because my garden is nice and quiet (no kids or dogs) and good for chillin out in. I'm one of the few that has fencing all round the garden and lots of bushes to sit under so it's turned into a bit of a cat quiet zone!
-
Oh my did Sebastian pick up his litle back pack and satnav
Sam that cat is just stunning............... :car: :car: :car: :car: ;D
-
:Luv: :Luv: :Luv:

I repainted the inside floor of his catshed yesterday and blocked the catflap into shed with the little door that came with it, you slide it down and in on the runners, butter lugs managed to barge his way through it walking through not properly dry paint and out into the garden :tired:
-
Ooooh, could you steal him for me?! He's gorgeous and looks like he could do with a big cuddle ;D
Something similar and very funny happened here last night - Bella went out for a little wander but hadn't come back by the time it went dark, so I walked round the block calling for her, and bumped into one of my neighbours, who said, "I've just seen a cat go in through your front door so I think Bella's back." Went home to find a gorgeous little tortoiseshell I've never seen before, sitting in my kitchen happily munching Bertie's dinner!! Opportunist or what!!!
(By the way, Bella turned up 10 minutes later, filthy but fine!)
-
I found a gorgeous ginger today, possibly a NFC. He had been hit by a car :'(
He didnt have a chip or collar and no one has yet responded to my bright red posters.
-
Oh no, what state is he in?
-
He was stiff when i found him so many people had drove past him, meanies.
-
Ahhhh what area are you in MM? Have you check the national pet register to see if he's on there?
-
Not yet Sam, i was going to give them 24 hrs to respond to my posters, if nothing i will then put him on my moggy etc. Its was this morning i found him.
He was in beautiful condition. Looked like he was heading home across the very busy road :(
-
poor thing, i take it he was killed then ?
-
How sad :(
-
Yep Lynn, outright as just the one lot of blood where he was so at least i can tell them he went quick. If they phone me.
-
how long can you keep him for MM ? ie is their a freezer available at your work ?
-
Poor baby :(
RIP little one.
-
Someone somewhere will be going out of their mind wondering why he hasn't come home. Really underlines the benefits of microchipping. :(
-
Lynn, he went to the nearest vets who will hold him for a week, they scanned him for me and checked the sex as i couldnt lift the tail very easily :shify:
I still havent had a phone call :(
-
You've done all you can MM, and a lot more than most people would have.
-
Bless you Sonia. RIP little man
-
I will type an add for all the websites, i cant do anything else. Shame, i really wanted him to be claimed back and not disposed off.
-
Well, if they'll keep him for a week at the vet's, perhaps he still will be claimed. If he's a cat like my Tilly used to be - she would go missing for 1 or 2 days quite often and would always turn up again - maybe they haven't actually realised he's gone yet?
