Title: Biting
Post by: LittleLijah on August 26, 2007, 21:32:31 PM
I've only had Louis for 4 months and only one cat previously but Louis will "bite" when I've been stroking him and stop. I don't think it's in an aggresive way but he puts his teeth on my hand as if to say what have you stop stroking me for. It's not something my previous cat did and I was wondering if anyone else has experience of this?

Yes, I usually get bit if I stroke my cats, well 2 of them bite. Its not agressive though, I think if you stroke them in a place they dont like they just give you a little warning, after all its the only way they have of telling us.  :shy:

Or he could just want more stroking.

You're lucky it's only your hand being bitten ... if someone stops stroking Bella while she's on their lap, she'll sit up and nip the end of their nose!

I get bitten on the nose when I am asleep.
Or the odd claw on the lip.

Know the feeling well, it is the claws in the eyes that hurt me most.
