great photographs there - remind me how many you have??!! and that last photo - how cute is that!!???
-
Thank you. Those are all my cats, I have 5.
-
these are lovely.
I think B&W photos are more expressive somehow as you don't get distracted by the colours - just love their faces - esp the 3rd one down. Wouldn't like to mess wiv him!
-
I agree, B&W is definitely a better medium than colour for capturing the true essence of the soul, but you also need to be a good photographer, which you clearly are.

Is Wiggy a shorthaired persian???!! He has the persian face but not the coat - I am confused. By the way he is very handsome
-
ooooh what gorgeous photos of stunning cats. Wiggy looks like a british cream ... my mum used to have one just like him ... looked like a thug but was as soft as butter and .. dare I say it ... a bit "thick"
-
That's some pretty smart photography dare I say so myself... ;D And gorgeous furry ones too! :Luv:
I love the way B&W gives you a certain "je ne sait quoi" that colour images don't, brilliant for portraits of humans as well as felines. It's umm, also a good quick fix for weird colour casts - oopsss, wasn't meant to spill that particular trade secret! :-:  :evillaugh:
-
Wiggy is great ;D
But all of them are lovely and great pictures ;D
-
Many thanks all, much appreciated. :thanks:

I too love the black and white pics, thesewere taken in true black and white and not altered. I agree the character of the animals comes through somehow.
