I know that most of you poor rescue people don't have time to enjoy reflecting on what you've achieved, but...
I just fed Apache and Squaw some slices of chicken breast. Their tiny little faces screwed up chewing food I offered with my hand is such a picture. So wonderful that I got them to trust me that much, and so relaxing watching them enjoy good food and knowing they don't have to wade through dustbins ever again. :Luv: :Luv: :Luv:

Are these 2 yours PB?
-
CC, you musta missed it... I caught these two whilst out on a CP call and I'm taming them down. :Luv:
-
They are lush :) which is which?
-
Apache is the boy - centre of the picture - with the big stripes under his eyes like a red indian.
I am sooooo tempted to keep them, but if i did I couldn't help the next batch that must be out there somewhere.... :scared:
But I can't stop banging on about them either 'cos I think there's so beautiful. :Luv:

That would be my problem....i would'nt be able to give em up......they are beautiful and your doing such a good job ;)
-
Wow :wow: They are stunning :Luv: :Luv: :Luv: What unusual facial markings they have :) Well Done PB, keep up the good work ;D

It is lovely when you make progress with a cat, and your right, if you keep them, you can't help the next lot that need you.

:drink: :cheer: :yayyy: :birth: :attention: :attention:
Today.... Apache purred!
He licked my fingers clean after eating some liver, laid down for tummy tickle, and gently drifted off to sleep and purred the gentlest little purr I've ever heard.
And yes, I cried.... buckets!! :) :Luv:

:Flowers: well done I am so happy for you a wee tear came to my eye, Awwwwwwwwwwww
Im getting broody again........................................
:ahh:

... and can you believe I've just spent the last 15 minutes stroking Squaw while she purred and purred and purred her little head off! :'( :Luv: :Luv: :innocent:
I really had no idea just how emotional this was going to be. OH is crying too! For Squaw to get stuck into a purr fest is just so totally amazing. She's been such a little Diva and often spags at me... Perhaps she's just going to be a tame little Diva from now on? :wow:
I am so happy that nothing can get to me for yonks.... :Flowers: :yesss: :na na naa na:

Glad that you have had a breakthrough, there is something so special about little things with timid/feral cats.

Latest pics of Apache and Squaw. ;D
I can't believe how much they've grown in a week!
Tried to catch their mum again tonight... no joy. :tired: But the ginger I caught last week turned up with his b/w pal. I gave them a tin of sardines to share between them. All three of us sat in the car listening to Classic FM and watching mum evade the trap again. :shy:

Awww theyre beautiful! with their big eyes staring at you. Well done on making some progress with these little ones

I had to do a bit of fiddling with their eyes in the photo - they came out bright green! But it was such a nice pose I thought it was worth it. ;)
