Has anyone else tried the new royal canin pure feline range? http://www.zooplus.co.uk/shop/cats/dry_cat_food/royal_canin_pure_feline
I bought a bag of each type for my lot and they absolutely loved it ...
We usually have Royal Canin Siamese (I buy this because it has large kibbles and Zephyr can't eat little kibble bits cuz he's got no front teeth and seems to end up spitting little kibbled all over the floor! ) but I think I will alternate it with the this new variety as well.

Oh so no-one has tried this then :(
-
nope, sorry, can't help. Did try some Royal Canin once when I could not get the Science Diet mix for Bob, but don't recall what it was - probably a seniors blend for cats with crystals in their urine, but, no idea what.

Just reading through the old posts.. I will be using this for Leo but obviously the Maine Coon kitten (think no.24 ) & then onto the Kibbles when he is old enough ! How you getting on still using them ?

Unless they have started doing it very recently there isn't a kitten version of the Maine Coon just normal kitten 34 (I may try writing another letter to RC suggesting they make a kitten version of the Maine Coon as it would be an excellent idea). The Maine Coon food is absolutely fantastic though ;D It's the only food I've tried where my lot don't swallow it whole, it's brilliant for their joints as well as it's designed for the very large breeds and has the correct protein and fat levels for them ;D ;D

Royal Canin is far too expensive for my budget :(

MMMMmmmmmm *drool* I :Luv: Royal Canin sooo much. Ever since last year when female human lost her kitty, Hope, she decided that some of the horrific amount she was spending on the Renal diet should be kept aside to buy the best possible food for Josh.
He decided he wanted to eat Royal Canin's Mature 27 (nothing to do with the fact that he's a vain cat and it has a picute of him on the front, oh no!) and has done ever since. As he only has one pouch of wet food a day and the rest is dry, it turned out that my humans were actually spending considerably less on food when you think how far a 2kg bag goes.
I'm only two, so I get the Persian special (altohugh I quite like the taste of Josh's :evillaugh:).
And we both get to share the Exigent variety for a bit of a change and, I've said it before, it is THE best food ever!
If it's still looking like an expensive option, you could always mix a bag with cheaper stuff.
Oh and Royal Canin also do a lot to help rescue cats so I like them! ;)

Hi Lisa,
Yep I'm still buying the Royal Canin pure feline ... my lot love the one with apple in :-: I only bought a couple of small bags though as we are still working our way through the "siamese" version which they also think is yum yum.

The Clan Cats and dogs love Royal Canin and have most of the varieties as they come in all ages and sizes = they also deliver and do great stuff for rescues to

My two boys have the Royal Canin Indoor and it's def a favourite with both of them. It lasts quite a while as they don't seem to each as much in one go. Their coats are lovely with it too, soft and shiney :Luv: Not tried the pure feline one but might give it a go now it seems to be going down well with other puss cats.
