Just taken in a little tortie about 11/12 weeks old, kids have drawn over her belly;shes been kicked about and will have to go to vets in the morning as it looks like her ribs have taken a knock, poor little love is one of those you get a shock when you pick them up shes so lightweight.
Hopefully one day cats will rule the earth.
-
OMG how disgusting >:(
hope the babe is okay
-
Poor little girl, I knew I hated kids for a reason!
-
kids have drawn over her belly;shes been kicked about
Please tell me you dont mean drawn with crayons or ink or something?
Hopefully one day cats will rule the earth.
Funny you should say that - I have a daydream that when the advanced race from outer space finally gets here - as surely they will - they will be six-feet-tall cats. And they will want some answers...

For what it's worth - the naming committee like Amber too! Will definitely be giving her some cuddles tomorrow. How can people be so cruel. The poor baby must have been petrified.
-
This leaves me speechless, disgusted and angry. The parents of those kids need shot. I have a particular soft spot for little torties, all remind me of my much loved Ellie.
T and Claire, please give little Amber lots of hugs for me xxxxxx

Although very sad, I think most rescues constantly have to take in cats and kittens that have suffered like this. So many cats/kittens and not nearly enough good homes. Also many good homes often have more cats than they really want as they have taken in a cat/kittens that were suffering or would do if they sod not take them in.
Every day I hear I can always find food homes with friends and relations for my cats kittens, yet it is often from those very so called good homes that many of the cats/kittens we take in come from.
-
:cat chat: How is wee Amber the gem doing today
big hugs and kisses
Will any action be taken against these so called people
-
She looks like our Amber - she started lidfe as a hissy feral and took 6 months to tame down with her brother Sailor and then I found them a loving home but then it went pearshaped for them after 3 years and when their owner contacted us they were in tears as no shelter in their area would touch a pair of "former" ferals and they asked if we could take them back
So Amber and Sailor came back in December 2005 and are a delightful addition to have - Amber has blossomed and become Robins stalker she sits outside the shower and crys to him and has after 4 years of being inside only become and indoor/outdoor lady who loves grass. Sailor is a bit hissy still he now is looking for the others as they l;ove to be in our company and he has now got as far as the dining room!
So from our naughty tortie crew - Xian, Gracie and Amber they all send headbutt and purrs to the latest tortie cutie and hope she blossoms under your care and all the ladies are available for advice! :Luv:
-
Just read this, what a poor little baby :(
Than god she's with you now T, she'll get all the cuddles and proper care she needs.
I honestly don't know how people can do things like that :(
Give her lots and lots of lovely cuddles and kisses from me and mines
-
Sorry not had chance to post all day.
Little one has been to vets thankfully no ribs broken. She is probably sore because she is so thin; she got very stroppy at vets obviously expected to be hurt when handled. Vet wants her to put a little weight on before thinking about vaccinations.
Will get some pics on tomorrow when I have more time.
Sorry her name isnt Amber, I had named her late last night before reading replies.
Her name is Dollydoodle
-
She's gonna love you for that lo,l how is she gonna face her new friends :)
-
BTW - she is very adorable!! The name Dolly Doodle really suits her!
-
And here she is.
-
:drool; :drool; :drool; she is beautiful.....gorgeous markings :Luv:
-
It breaks my heart every time I hear about a cat - or any animal - expecting to be hurt whenever humans handle her. But DollyDoodle will soon learn that all that is behind her.
-
what a cutie, and already looking a bit more relaxed ... :Luv:
-
what a beautiful girl :Luv: i have an extreme soft spot for torties :Luv:
-
Aww, she is lovely, and what an unusual name. Am sure she will learn to trust again in your care T. She actually looks more like a patched tabby than a tortie though,
-
I absolutely adore DollyDoodles :Luv: :Luv: :Luv: Wish I could have a cuddle :)

Des shes what I call a tabby/tortie
-
Awwwwwwwwwwww she is just gorgeous, I love her ;D
-
STrictly she's not T, tabby/torties are torties with tabby stripes in what would be the black, patched tabbies are like her, mainly tabby stripes with ginger. She is gorgeous though.
-
Oh what an adorable little sweetheart - some people just make my blood boil, it is beyond me how anyone can hurt any animal.
-
What a beautiful little girl - thank goodness she is now safe.
