Title: Coventry Cat Group - meet the new family that need rehoming
Post by: Angiew on August 06, 2007, 13:54:56 PM
Well picked the cats up at last. Really not impressed with the 'owner' - you know what I'm saying folks! Scary thing is they would have passed a home check.

Zanaibar is tiny, 2 years old, an entire queen and seems to be in good health as do they all (apart from the fleas and worms). She is Molly's sister and mum to junior.

Junior is supposed to be 4 - 5 months old but a small kitten - though as his mums so small I suppose its not too surprising.

Molly is 2 years old.

and her babies at 3 - 4 weeks. Photo's not to good. Will get them all checked this afternoon by vet. Kitten1's eye looks clear enough but I was a bit shocked by the photo.

please email if you are interested in offering a home to any of our cats.

The OH is interested !!!!!!!!!!

Are all three available... joke!

Well would be interested in Mr tabby Muesli - defo

I think Dylan and Smudge are ready for a younger brother......

Dylan (  >:(  )   Smudge  (    :P     )   OK just Mummy and Daddy !

Just wondering if it would be better to introduce one or two ? But then one would be left ? Financially ? Oh I don't know ?

I'll post piccys later in the week once I've stopped having my panic.
I had to call on Jill earlier (my not-mad cat lady friend who took on "marks cats" last year, and she came roaring round to console me and look at mum and kits)

I'm sorry folks, I don't do kittens - too scary.  normally happy to let other folk fight over the joys so I'm in scary land. Never had kids, never bottle fed but I am now an expert in all thing milton though still in a panic.

I think you have to be very brave to handle babies of any sort!

I can sympathise, Angie..

I haven't had to deal with kittens in years. In fact, if memory serves the last kitten I had was Jumpy - 12 years ago!  But I was daft enought to go racing after these feral babies and not only am I in scary kitten land, but the kittens are now plotting a vendetta against me because I trapped them. I know just what they're whispering to each other huddled up together in the back of the pen!  :shify: :scared:  :evillaugh:

But when their ickle faces look up to you when you stand over the pen, you just melt with pride and joy....  :Luv: :Luv: :Luv:
