Title: Josie
Post by: exm on November 16, 2006, 21:10:44 PM
I picked up Josie from a Dutch animal shelter in November 2001. She was about 6 months old. Ever since, she has been my best friend and greatest companion ever. I will miss your meows, purrs, you sleeping with me, coming to me when I called your name, waiting for me and greeting me when I came home. You're the best cat, sitting on my dad's lap in heaven now.

Josie was put to sleep at 11/09/2006 around 9PM due to a necrotic pancreatic after her fall from the 4th floor. I tried everything I could to save her, but you being free of pain is more important than my loss.

Rest in peace, my sweet Josie.

Josie was so beautiful and I know you have the Ragdoll in her memory. I am sure she is watching from the Bridge smiling.

Sadly not to long ago another poster  had a cat falling for a 4th floor and I think died with the same problem.

I'm a male owner! It happened in the USA. Hopefully it WAS me, so there is no other owner who had to go through this.

RIP Josie, Benji will take care of her at the bridge until you come for her xx

exm, I think the date under Josie's picture may be confusing us, in the UK we read that as 11th Sept 06, wheras it actually reads 9th November 06.

Thanks again everyone. I can not stress how important it is to know that people care about the loss of your cat. Some people are like 'what is the big deal', but they have no idea.

I also modified the date to avoid confusion.

Exm, sadly the majority of us know jsut how important support is at this time, and we all care when someone is grieving. Too many of us have had people say 'its only a cat' and it is something you will never find here.
