Hi,
Unfortunately I have to rehome some of my pets due to a change in personal circumstances :(
Pooh is a 2 year old neutered male cat, who is mostly white with ginger eyebrows and some markings on his tail and body. He is a very energetic and sociable cat.
Pooh is currently an indoor only cat, living with 2 other males. He adores cat and human company, is very affectionate and even chatty!
I am looking for a brilliant home for him either with another resident cat, or with my two other girls, who I will post about seperately. This home must be either fully indoors, or indoor/outdoor with a totally cat safe garden/cat run.
I adore my cats and will be looking for someone who can love them as much as me! Please get in touch and with any questions at all. I'd be very happy to talk to anyone who thinks they could give Pooh the home he deserves. I will homecheck any potential new home.
I hope someone spots him!

The other cat (the tabby, Julius) in the picture was also being rehomed, but I think he's found somewhere already.

Pooh is a Turkish Van is ever I saw one...! ;) It might be worth tryng the Pedigree rescues... she can always say he doesn't have papers. :evillaugh:

Oh wow, he's a pedigree? Huh, who knew! Maybe his owner doesn't either as she never mentioned it anywhere!

They come in different colours, MM. Gingers are more usual. Some have patches on their backs, some don't. The only common thing in all of them is the patches on the head between the ears and the coloured tail.
You could certainly put forward the idea he's a Turkish which may help his chances of attracting an owner... ;)

I thought Vans had fluffier tails. Sorry if that sounds dense! :shy:

Iv met alot of moggies with the same spots between ears/ a coloured tail. He doesnt have the ear fluff either :shy:

Pooh is apparantly still looking for his new home. I PM'd his current owner today.

Does anyone know of any space in rescues local to Greenwich? I think the owner was hoping to find Pooh a home, but she said the situation is getting pretty urgent now.

he is lovely but he is not a van, although he may have some in there - his head shape and face are wrong. Poor laddy - why would no-one want him,,, :Luv:

I don't know, but he still doesn't have a new home yet! It also transpires that the lady wants to rehome ALL THREE of her male cats. (I have no idea why.) The other two are tabbies.

Ahhhhhhhhhh he is lovely.. bless him why doesnt nobody want him ? Ive been thinking of a 2nd puddy but im not sure on an adult one.. I really wanted another kitten & preferably anothe Maine Coon.. I just love the Breed since I got Leo.. Oh bless him tho..there must be someone who can take him.. you are right JackSpratt this section is upsetting :Luv:

ahh I feel so selfish now :( It really worries me that I will lose an adult cat before Leo. I want them as close age as poss so they can grow up & together. Everytime I go to Blackberry Farm RSPCA Centre there are so many :(

Esther isn't in a pen - she is much adored and loved. Still, I know what you mean. Still can't understand why people have a thing against blacks. I think they are gorgeous!! :Luv:

Why not at least consider giving an adult rescue cat a home ?
Give an unwanted cat a chance to have a lovely Mummy like you :sneaky:
Kittens are cute yes and that why they always get homes - but some poor rescue cats spend months and months in pens feeling confused, unloved and scared (is it working yet ??) The only time they get contact with someone is when they are feed and then they have to watch people pass them by time and time again (tugging at the heart strings yet ??) I bet they get all excited when someone stopped and looks at them...their little hearts start racing hoping that this will be the person to take them home - and then it sinks again when the person walks off (dont know about you but i have the tissues ready)..........

I emailed him to a friend of mine but she came back to say she wasn't looking at the moment because she was about to start renovation at her flat and thought it would be too much for him, its such a shame she would have been perfect. She needs an indoor cat and has another boy Gilbert that she took in similar circumstances off cat chat who has gone from strength to strength since she had him I was really hopeful

Update: It's not just Pooh looking for a home it's his "brothers" too. Julius is the tabby, Charlie is the black and white.
"I would love to be able to keep all my cats, but if I were to rehome, the absolute ideal, pinnacle of brilliant home, would be for the 3 of them together...
The other two...
Julius, about 2 1/2, very big lad, very friendly and self confident, and very intelligent. Will wrap you around his little finger. Food is his main aim in life.
Charlie, about 2 1/2, another big fella, veeerrrrrry stupid, but the most loving cat ever. He is a very little man, only the very best and most understanding home for him.
Neither of them are up to date on jabs, but both neutered and currently indoor. They are not brothers but were put together as tiny kittens when found abandoned (Charlie) and handed in unwanted (Julius)."

I was lookin at venture farm rescue website (where i got kitty from RIP baby) and theres a 7 year old white + black male there and he has been there 7 years :'( if i hadnt of just lost kitty i would get him but i just cant atm as it would upset me WAY to much, If/When me and my gf get another one (still have 2 kittens :rofl:) we are going to get an older one from a rescue to save them being in there years i feel so sorry for them all. We will get another one at some point but not for a while as loosing kitty is still very painfull.
