Title: What NOT to do with a cat tent
Post by: Susanne (urbantigers) on July 31, 2007, 20:29:50 PM
I don't recommend holding it in the air and sticking your head inside, then calling to the furb giving you a funny look through the mesh at the back "Where's Moohh-siii..?"  Not unless you want a broken nose.

Or maybe I'm the only one daft enough to try it  :-[

Not done that but mine have decided it's a great thing to jump on while one of the other cats is in there.

This causes the whole thing to collapse and the cats going nuts.

You'd think I'd have learnt my lesson when I did a similar thing with the duvet and ended up in A&E, wouldn't you?  ;D

Oh dear what happened??

When he was a few months old he was playing under the duvet so I put my head under and said "where's Mosi" and he told me with a nice right hook.  His claw got me in the eye and it bled a lot so I rang NHS direct who told me to go to A&E to get it checked out.  He just caught the edge of my actual eye and it was ok, but I had a black eye and swollen eye lide or a while.

   Euugh that sounds really painful. Naughty Mosi-kins, I'm sure he gave you lots of purry cuddles to make up for it though!

 I used a catnip cigar rather than me nose :-D those side mesh things are potentially very hazardous, surprised they got through health and safety regs  :evillaugh:

right now, there are mega contented, loud snoring noises coming from mine as the Swampcat is in residence in his bastis :) . I ahem "work" in a mezzanine in my lounge and the tent's up near me so he trots up and in he goes, on to his furry vetbed and zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.  Sounds good to me!
