Hello all
Our little branch covers a large area but we tend to use three (or four) specific vets. One is a small practice that does our neutering with a voucher for
Males £5.00
Females 10.00
We get a good discount on FIV testing etc, but it depends on the vet.
What are other CP paying, if you dont mind sharing that infor. We are in the South East and one vets that we dont use charge £63.00 for a female spay, can you believe that.

The vets we use charge about £36 for a spay and about £27 for a nueter, so with the vouchers off thats is £16 and £12 and with our 10% discount that is £14.40 & £10.80. Either for one month or sometimes twice a year for a month at a time we have a special offer where our vets do if I ask neuters and spays for the voucher and £1 this is for us and the public.
I expect you know that in cases where there is a retained testicle HQ will allow the £20 spay voucher to be used.

Not sure how much we pay but I know we get a discount from our vets. I don't know what they charge the public when they use vouchers either but I will try and find out.

I'm quite lucky here in Wolverhampton our vets charge £21 for female and £16 for a male....but that is with Cavan vets, others in the area I have been told its around £46 for a female. ;D

i am not CP, but we pay £22 for females and £16 for males - no idea what the rescues vet charge the public though, but we tell people who adopt our kittens that if they go back to our vet, spay/neuter is included in the adoption fee, they just have to show the vet the adoption paper. I am talking to our treasurer this week, as I want to chase up just how many people use this.
