Dropped him off at what will hopefully be his forever home last night, Tinky (aka Shadow) is looking really well, and while still skittish and scared of visitors, did stay in the open long enough for me to get a few sneaky fusses!! She was very curious about him, so seemed to forget about being skittish around us, so hopefully he will be a big help. He was initially supposed to just be there overnight, but then after an hour or so, they wanted to give him a few more days, so we will touch base on Mon, but am available before then for any advice, seeing as I forgot to print off any advice!! Keep your fingers crossed that they get on well, it would be wonderful for him to have a forever home.

Brilliant news Desley,keeping fingers crossed.
-
;D Yeaaaayyyy. Good luck, Shabba. :)
-
WEll, he has been there nearly 24 hours now and no contact - I am dying to text them to check everything is going well, but resisiting the urge, the longer without any contact, the better the chances of him staying - they have been told there is no chance of him being picked up tonight though, I am drinking after my tough week!!

If Shabba has a forever home that will be great ;D
Am a bit confused about the original post..................not hard for me ;D...........is there another cat there, I thought that Shabba needed to be the only cat?
-
IT will, he has been here since MArch.
Yes Gill, he has gone to the same home Shadow (Aka Tinky) went - Shabba is fine with other cats, despite initially being told he didn't like them.
-
Oh thats great then ;D
-
It is!!
-
:wow:
Fingers crossed, Desley...
-
I do hope he has found his forever home xx
Paws crossed xx

Sadly, Shabba is back, neither of them were eating, and Shabba hadn't had a lot on Fri night (I dont give them a normal portion if they are travelling, just in case), so the decision was made not to try and push them - Tinky apparently was really pushing Shabba last night and he just took it bless him, it shows just how laid back he is!!
-
Awww, poor Shabba. :(
-
Poor Shabba :'(
-
Aw bless you Shabba.....your forever home is out there :Luv: :Luv:
-
Well, we have had an interest in both Kizzy and Shabba tonight, i am going over Thurs with them both, and I can't see me coming home with them, nor can I see them coming back - the lady in question has had 6 cats in the past, her and her boyf have moved into a new place, the landlord gave them permission for a cat today, so they scoured the internet, bought all the necessities, fell in love with Kizzy, read she had to go with Shabba, so decided on them both - she has always had 2 cats together. Would be wonderful for them, and fate for it not to have worked out with Tinky. Similar area too!!
-
Aww....wonders never cease :Luv:
So glad they will be off to a brand new forever-forever home ;)
-
Oh I do hope it works out for Shabba ;D
-
I know - me and Kelly had been talking about how to 'publicise' them more, and less than an hour later, she rang back cos we had an enquiry!! can't wait till tomorrow!! Will be giving them a week to make sure, and then the next one can come in.
-
Sounds like excellent news :)
-
Can't wait for tonight!!
-
That's brilliant news ;D
-
Really hope this works out for Shabba.

Well, I was informed when I took them that there is no way they are coming back!! She also had about 7 interlinking hamster 'cages' - I thought there were lots of hamsters, but no, one hamster and about £100 worth of cage, so she definitely spoils her animals!! They had a good explore before I left, and had some food, which is promising with Shabba, cos he only ate 2 mouthfuls the week before!!

That's great Desley, well done ;D
-
Yeayyyyy! Good luck in your new home, Shabba. :)
-
Just been talking to his new mum, and they are both doing really well, Kizzy has been bit by the hamster, so much for the hamster being at risk!! Shabba has turned into a complete fusspot, he always follows them around and demands lots of fusses.
-
I am so pleased for Shabba ;D ;D ;D ;D
-
Aw glad they are doing so well in their new home :Luv: :Luv:
