Title: Spraying problem

I have three female cats all spayed 2 are 4 years old, the other is 6, one is more dominant than the others and I also have a much closer bond with her. (Her name is Pebbles).

The problem I am having with her is that she keeps urinating on my boyfriends clothes. If he leaves clothes on the floor she will urinate on them and if she gets into the wardrobe, she will also urinate on his clothes. She never does it to mine, even if I leave clothes on the floor or when she gets into the wardrobe.

As she has such a close bond with me I was wondering if this was a sign of her trying to show dominance over my boyfriend? Can anyone give me some advice on how to stop this happening?

Ooo the jealous cat!

I’ve never had a cat do that particular spraying, though our Smoke enjoys rolling around in my husbands dirty clothes, she loves when I do laundry.

Maybe if you make sure none of his clothes are on the floor and figure a way to lock her out of the wardrobe she might stop.

Possibly put some of your clothes in his wardrobe as well.

Its sounds like she is weeing not spraying? If its just jealousy then feliway may help and to get your bf to take up feeding her, this will make him a nice person instead of someone who steals her mummys attention!

A vet check wouldnt go amiss incase its an UTI.

Does she have a tray? Is her relationship with the other 2 cats ok?

I find it effective if you put a saucer of
cat biscuits where your puss would normally wee because cats
do not like peeing near food.  It works for me.
