Oh my £300 for a Siamese kitten, is that the cost now adays. I got my two for that price and although Leo hasnt got good markings and a kinky tail his sister is very well marked..
Just didnt realise with all the new breeds out there now (Bengal etc) that Siamese kittens were so expensive!

A good friend of mine is a Siamese breeder - she breeds a super type of cat, somewhere in between the modern and traditional. Unfortunately she's based in London which I'd assume is too far for you to travel. She also keeps her finger on the pulse for rescue Siamese.
If you're interested, let me know.
-
yea am interested but the distance is too far even for the cat, i just wish and hope that i can get one as i just love siamese cats!!!
I appreciate everyones help and thankyou very much!!!

Have you contacted the various siamese cat clubs? I can't believe there's not a breeder within a reasonable distance of you, as siamese are popular so there are lots of breeders.
The siamese cat club has a kitten page and contact details. A lady called Alison Fox, apparently, has a list of kittens in the north of england and scotland.

£300 - £400 is what you can expect to pay for a pet quality kitten of most breeds. You might get a siamese for a bit less since they are popular and therefore not in short supply, but I'd be wary of anyone selling one for much less than £300. Cat clubs such as the siamese cat club will be able to tell you what you can expect to pay for one so I'd ask about that too.

Have you tried contact the "old style" siamese club .. http://www.oldstylesiamese.co.uk/page1/index.html
