Thought I'd let you all know about Cruz.......she has this habit of collecting things from around the house and carrying them in her mouth like kittens - even making little calling noises (no idea why as she was spayed at 6mths). So anyway its not unheard of to hear her in the and look to see a pair of socks, a rubber glove, kitchen sponge hanging from her mouth. Recently she even taken to waking up us in the night with the noise and us finding a pile of things by our bed. However, her and Jet were playing in the garden on Monday night and the OH noticed that Cruz was playing with something in the garden, making her little calling noise and carrying something around in her mouth. We're like what's she taken outside now..............So he goes out and one closer inspection she has a ladies thong with a feather on the back of it!!!
Well it wasn't mine so by now we're wetting ourselves laughing and wondering where its come from, we can only assume that she "borrowed" it from a neighbours clothes line or its dropped in their garden as she's not brave or bold enough to go into someone elses house. OH said that I'd have to knock on the neighbours door to try and return the thong.........no way I was going to do that, could you imagine the shame?? Needless to say they went into the bin, we're now dreading what Cruz's next find will be!!!! :shy:

:omg: - I hope they were clean :evillaugh:

A similar thing happens with my cat Chutney (previously feral)
Under the bed is HER spot (eg Mango does not go under there) was hoovering underneath one day and found Chutney's "hoard" which included receipts and other bits of paper, bits of plastic and string, and some toys that Mango does not play with!!
However I have never seen her with a thong!! (though she does occasionally like my bras) :evillaugh:

yes the strangest things are found in the most respectable households. While cleaning out the top cupboard of my new kitchen I discovered a packet of condoms and a bottle of KY jelly - no wonder I am completely renovating the kitchen!!

Fudge, my old cat, used to occasionally get a pair of knickers that had fallen off the washing line (mine or my mum's) and trall them round the house, but he never came in with anyone elses!

The thing is someone is probably feeling all freaked out thinking that some perv has broken into their garden and stolen their thong  I agree she is cute though :) I just love her little black nose :Luv:

When I lived at home my cat Mollie had a real thing about my bras and used to steal them and hide them or carry them round. I had my male best friend round when I was about 14 and lo and behold Mollie walks down the stairs and into the lounge with one of my bras, I could have died!! :-[ :-[ :-[ When we moved we found about 3 or 4 that she's hidden in various places lol.

 that story reminded me of my mom's old cat Suki, he was a Siamese, he had the usual habit of chewing wool which now we know lots of Siamese do. Anyway he was allowed out because again back then (late 1970s) we didn't know any difference. So off he goes on his wonders, hours later plodding down the garden path (he was abit plump) there's Suki looking pleased a punch with a knitted soft toy in his mouth. And we're not talking a little toy here, no this toy was so big he had to drag it between his front legs with the head in his mouth and the body dragging on the floor underneath him. We never did find out who he pinched it off but for ages we had visions of some poor child crying itself to sleep at night at the loss his dolly!
But at least it wasn't a pair of knitted knickers

That is highly amusing
I think i might have gone to the door with the "evidence" but then i'm wicked :evillaugh:

Cruz isn't a Turkish Van lookalike, is she? Only she sounds just like my Jumpy... :scared:
Jumpy's prize trophy to date was my elderly neighbours false teeth. £160 he paid for those teeth, I felt obilgated to return them. But I've never gone so scarlet in my life.... :ooops:
