Title: Hills I/D- pouches vs tins
Post by: Team Svartalfheims on July 17, 2007, 14:53:00 PM
Boopy adores the i/d tins but VetUK have got the pouches on special so I was wondering what the difference between is.  Are the pouches exactly the same stuff just in a pouch or are they more 'meat in jelly type?

Thank you!

The pouches are chunks in gravy, not rough chunks like felix, seems to go down better mashed  ;D

Ok thank you very much, think I'll stick to the tins of it then for her as she likes her pate style foods.

AFAIK the pouches have a bit more cereals in them. The tins are slightly different too (just to make life easier!) in that the consistency of the 85g tin is drier than the 156g one for some reason.
Having said that, mine like both tinned versions. There are some tiny blue specks in the food which I was told by Hills is an added mineral - they told me which, but old brain can't remember.

Ah right ok then I might order the big tins rather than the smaller tins then as they are the ones she's had before and likes.
