Would it not neutralise the catnip?
-
I would wash them by hand if I were you, otherwise the stuffing may come out if washed to hard. You will probably lose the capnip too, but could spray some on afterwards.
-
I think i'd risk it - maybe put them inside a sock or something? If it all goes pear shaped it's not like they're that expensive to replace. You could spray so catnip on it when it's dried out.

I wouldn't wash them in a machine or anything.
Best just gently surface wash with water, a mild soap and a scrubbing brush.
-
you should be able to wash in a wool wash, also i use catnip spray on mine (i havent washed it though)
-
Well as Im feeling a little cr*p today I thought stuff it and through them in the machine and
They came out fine. All I need to do now is find the catnip spray I hid and Im sure they'll be good as new...... or as good as played with cat toys get :evillaugh:

I never found the catnip but it would appear not to matter. All I did was put them down while I went looking.
