Than yesterday, within 2 hours I had phone calls to bring in 4 adults, 2 mums and babies, plus loads one individual cats that were either not wanted or possible strays. Oh! and I sick stray jumped the queue and is at the vets. At the moment we have nowhere, but at least I could give advice and hopefully all situations will soon be resolved.

Fingers crossed for a much better day.

Its really a good day when you get lots of crys for help because at least someone is trying to help do something; even if most are baddies just wanting to offload at least they arent out dumping the poor babies. :)
Keep smiling :)

I do know what you mean, but one feels so helpless when all one can do is offer advice and add to the long list of cats waiting to come in. Obviously cats in a life threatening situation are dealt with immediately.

Hi Ela (SNAP) my day was the same yesterday i don't know where it ends, i was out trying to catch a Ginger stray poor little feller was not looking good at all, got him in the end, but he got me to, poor lad you wouldn't think i was trying to help him, anyway had to take him to my vet at 9-30 last night, asked the vet to keep him in over night as he was really stressed out and panting like mad, then first thing this morning phone goes can i pick up another one, just built my pen bigger and still got no room, and don't seem to be doing to good on the rehousing side at the moment its the same all round, hope things pick up soon, good luck Ron.

Good luck to you too. I find that the homing will not really pick up now until September. Which is not good news as we have loads waiting to come in.
