Title: My two cats sent me roses!
Post by: Lesley Frankie on July 10, 2007, 07:52:05 AM
My cat Morticia Muffin died of heart disease 3 years ago, aged 12. Then this April, my other cat Buster Bunny died suddenly from cancer, aged 14. We have recently moved to a new home and in May, we put in a new garden. I buried MM and BB's ashes together and had a lovely climbing rose plant put over them. When first planted it was covered in blooms but within a few weeks, they had all gone. So, after a week or so, I went over for a look and there wasn't a bud to be seen. So, I gave them a bit of a talking-to although it felt a bit silly! I told them to get cracking producing flowers instead of just lounging about all day! I may even have mentioned them not being on Daddy's yatch! anyway, in no time at all, there were 2 buds, just two mind you. So I think that they were listening to me and it makes me feel much better to think that they are together and happy. :Luv:
