Title: Go-Cat Play Gym...
Post by: Cheesecat on July 07, 2007, 22:36:56 PM
Has anyone got a letter about this? (I think I might have got one cause i order lots of things from Felix and its all purina isnt it?)

Go-Cat have got an offer where you collect 6 tokens and you can get a cat play gym for £4.99 (its £6.99 without the tokens which I might do cause I don't normally feed mine go-cat)

It looks good (and folds away into a carry case) but I always get these things and they get ignored! just wondering what you guys think  :)

I saw the same play-gym but I don't think I was sent details by letter [the memory's going] and I thought the same as you, it looks really nice but it'll end up gathering dust with all the other stuff I've bought them over the years

Treat 'em to a new cardboard box...they'll love you for it if yours are anything like mine

Mine would probably love something like that.......everything I buy gets used by one or another which is great as they don't go to waste  ;)  I think I may order one of those and see what mine think.

lilycat - mine would probably much rather have the box...  :shify:

I went through a phase of buying them beds for some reason.. they have three they wont use now! actually 4.. they used the basket for a bit but dont bother anymore  :um: I definitely enjoy shopping for these things more than the cats enjoy using them

They played for hours with the cardboard outer cover of a crate of beer the other week... and I mean HOURS - peeping at each other through it, skidding across the room in it, staging a stake out for when other cats went by... Cats eh?!

I know exactly what you mean Dawn - I went through the whole bed buying thing and I still get tempted if I see a really nice one. My lots fave beds are old throws I fold up for them and a wicker basket I got from the CP shop for £2.99! Imogen likes her proper bed though - in a quiet, out of the way corner of the living room.

They have to investigate any cardboard box that comes into the house and whoever gets posession of the box can be quite territorial about it - anyone else trying to get in it ends up with a slapped face!

Basil once managed to get his head in a mobile phone box  :shy:

Dawn, I got an email about this and considered getting it.

But my lot ignore things for months before they actually realise it's there, so I'm not sure if I'll bother. I like the look of it, though! ;D

My friend gave me tokens for this and I sent for it almost 2 weeks ago. I can't wait to get it, I'm sure my lil ones will love it!

looks like fun, but possibly a bit floppy to put up with the hard play it invites?? Still, nothing more funner than rolling yourself up in a piece of fabric (towel, carpet, mum's knickers she was hoping were out of site....)

Yeah, I'm sure it's probably not the sturdiest, but for a fiver if it lasts only a few weeks it wont be too much of a loss

My five all liked it but the top bit didn't stay upright for long and then, I think because it has a sort of plastic covering, one wee'd on it - it washed up OK but is currently in storage !  Also had to remove the feathered bit as was worried they were swallowing them.
