I want to start an account to cut our worm and flea costs for CP cats... The scheme CP runs is a bit complicated as it involves getting vets involved and also my time ((( Ideally would like to find a lovely volunteer to do some purchasing for us.......
Does any other CP branch buy worm and flea stuff (no presc required like) on line and is it much cheaper?
Trying to stock our fosteres out with the basic stuff to cut vet bills..............
And yes i know that sometime sthe vet has to see the cat first.

I purchase the Drontal from CP as it is 50p a tablet cheaper than on-line and really is no effort at all. I am wondering if a vet is a little reluctant to receive the Drontal and you asked the CP vet to have a word with your vet that would ease the path. Allthough I cannot understand why it has to be delivered to a vet when it is not now a POM. I order Frontline pipettes Staykill Feliway & Felifriend etc from Vet UK via our site of course as them not only do we get it cheaper we get a 5% commission.

Thanks for that..
Can you start an account or have to pay by credit card with the online stuff... ? Its difficult to ask a volunteer to use their credit card online. Much happier with an online account.
Asf or worming, yep i agree as well..........We must get through hundreds of worm tablets.............
What else do you source outside of CP HQ, as i have found them not to be a whole lot cheaper on some thing..........!
Ideally we would like to source.
The pen disentfectant (cannot remember name)
Worm
Flea stuff
some kitten supplement
To give to each fosterer as a basic start to MOT..........
Does anyone know of a good supplier for traps! We could do with one or two more..................
We get our wire baskets from the vets nearly five pounds cheaper then HQ or online................

I pay with my credit card ,not sure if they allow accounts. Although our Fosterers can have anything they want to make their life easier and the life of the cats as comfy as possible, they are not allowed to order and pay for things themselves. I and the treasures like to keep tabs on purchases. Although I am sure if we asked they would not mind using their cards as they know they would be reimbursed immediately. The Fosterers however do order their own litter £150 at a time.
We use Vircon (from the vets) for cleaning out or Vetaclean from Animalcare via IdENTICHIP rep.
We get the traps from MDC. We have 12, the last two we purchased were the collapsable ones but we have found them as much use as a chocolate teapot when they are used for kittens, as they can get out.
