Do you remember my friends cat that was weeing in the house ??
I gave her alot of advice about how to stop her from doing this but my friend couldnt be bothered and She was going to get rid of her.
Then my friend had a change of heart and kept her.
Well i have just looked on FoalFarm website and was shocked to see my friends cat on there looking for a new home !!! :censored:
I am sooooooooooooooooo :censored: ANGRY !!
and my friend has lied about why she needs rehoming - she has made out that her other cats are messing the house because they dont like this cat !!!!!!!!!!!
The truth is -
The reason this cat was weeing everywhere was there was only 1 litter tray between 3 cats and it was never clean !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Michelle
Not all people are as thoughtful as they could be. Nor as devoted to their responsibilities. But....
Your pal did at least make sure this cat was in good hands and didn't come to any harm. She could have done worse by puss. I expect folks lie to rescues all time about the reasons for relinquishing a pet. :(
Fingers crossed the rest will have an easier life now. :innocent:
-
I'm not surprised you're angry with her. Is she a good friend or could you live without her :P?
-
At least the poor cat will hopefully find a better home and a cleaner litterbox ;)
Sorry your friend is such a goon, some folks can't be taught common sense.
-
I remember the story Michelle and was incensed then too!
Julie is right, at least the kitty is with foalfarm and being taken care of.
However, still very heartless and cruel to just abandon her this way.
I hope she finds her forever home soon

Some people have hearts of stone! >:(
Glad she's not my friend - Lets hope what comes around goes around for her >:(

Polo
3yr F/Sp
black & white
The other cats in the house started messing when she arrived! She would be happy to stay indoors but would prefere a home with no young children or other animals. She is a quiet, shy cat.

Yes at least she went to FoalFarm.
But i still cant believe my friend has done it (oh and waited till i was on holiday !!!!)
Poor Polo, she must be so frightened and confused
-
:brick:
How could she?
She looks like a cuddly lap cat - poor Polo :ahh:
-
She's lovely Michelle - what a beautiful nose! :blow kiss:

Awww, Polo is lovely. I don't think she'll be there long, Michelle.
I know how you feel. My friend recently put his dog up for rehoming. I knew he was having trouble finding somewhere that would take pets, but heard no more about it and assumed he'd found a place. I get a message the day before he's taking her to the rescue letting me know what's happening!
I don't live in the same area of the UK as him, but I have other friends that do and they could've asked around too. Makes me sad - if i was in that situation I'd rather fib to a landlord! :evillaugh:

Polo is a lovely cat, and foal farm have an excellent reputation. She looks fit and healthy. She'll be fine. ;)
In situations like this, if it were a pal of mine, I would say "I'm sorry you felt you couldn't ask me for help..." and carry on from there. Whether you want to keep her as a friend is up to you. :shy: But people by their very nature are fickle and trying to figure their minds, or getting angry with them, never seems to make you feel better in my experience.
Before you go telling her her fortune :rage: if indeed that's what you've got planned, best remember the saying "Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer still." That way, you can keep an eye on the rest of her cats.. :sneaky:

My friend did ask me for help but then didnt do the things i suggested.
She has had 3 cats but only one litter tray so i told her to get at least another one tray. WHICH SHE DIDNT DO
I told her to keep the trays clean as some cats wont use a dirty tray but everything i went round there the litter tray was really dirty!
Polo was weeing in one place really in the dinning room so i said to put a tray where she was weeing BUT SHE DIDNT DO IT
She got a Feliway plug (advice from vet) which seemed to work in the first couple of weeks BUT THEN SHE STOPPED USING IT.
I dont want to loose this person as a friend but i just need abit of breathing space from her at the moment to stop me from saying something really horrible.

:shy: Dont mean to offend but maybe Polo was to good for her, if she cant clean a litter tray wots the rest of her house keeping skills like!!!!!!!!!!
