Title: Please say a prayer for Holly.

Firstly apologies, I haven't posted much recently and unfortunately now it's with sad news again...

Some of you may remember I adopted a little cat, 16, from the RSPCA in April, unfortunately she fainted twice at the weekend and an ECG yesterday confirmed the worse:  her heart is enlarged and very erratic, the vet just said to take things 'day by day'.

She has the sweetest nature and has become part of the family so quickly, it's just such a shame her stay will be short, it has come as a bit of a shock.

Running on reserve.

Aww thats sad to hear. At least she will of spend her days with someone that truly loves her and is a part of a family.  Is there no way to make her better? Hoping she has many more loved filled days, weeks, months and years to come.  :)

So sorry to hear you have had some sad news, at least she is in a home environment, and you can shower her with love for the time she has left, she is lucky to be with you. XX

I've said a wee prayer for Holly. I'm sure it's a comfort to her to know that she's with you and for you to spend precious time with her.

What sad news  :'(  As others have said the main thing is that she has a fantastic, loving home for the rest of her life, however long that may be  :hug:

Thank you all for your kind messages and thoughts for Holly.

I'm pleased to tell you, the little love is still with us.

She seems happy within herself, although not eating much and I've only been able to administer half a tablet (sigh)... just a matter of time, but at present she's enjoying lots of deserved love and cuddles.

Sending lots of cuddles and kisses to Holly.  I know you must be feeling really sad, but try to enjoy whatever time you have with her. It might be longer than you think.

I'm sorry to hear of your bad news... She will be in my prayers.. At least she's had someone so kind to give her all the love she deserves even if she is heading towards her last moments (which I sincerely hope she isn't)...
