:help: We were contacted by an elderly lady who has to move into sheltered accommodation by the end of this month. She has five cats but is only allowed to take two with her, so has chosen to take the two most unlikely to find homes. She is also talking about having them put to sleep if we cannot place them as she is worried that they may end up in cages or in unscrupulous hands and she is absolutely heartbroken. :(
The three cats are only young, Willow (grey and white) no older than three and Millie (black and white) just turned two, both are longhaired, spayed and vaccinated. They can go together or be separated, they are not related.

Harry is a shorthair male, about 2 years old, but bullies the girls and can therefore be homed on his own. He is neutered, vaccinated and also microchipped. All cats are affectionate and both girls are lap cats. They would benefit from a quiet home, but a family with older sensible children would be fine.

If you can help at all, please contact Gina on gina.catrescue@btinternet.com. Homes are preferably sought in and around Chester and the CH60-66 postcode areas. (http://209.85.48.12/9485/155/emo/signthankspin.gif)

Blimey, they look...loved.(Read, a bit on the chunky side!) Hope they find homes soon.
-
Ahh bless them and what a shame the lady has to give them up.
Fingers crossed they will be homes soon.
Sorry I can't help out but just bumping this up for ya :)
-
Thanks Sam. If I had room I'd take them, at least for a while. I was very impressed by the decision to take the two that would be harder to rehome, but what an awful decision to have to make.

Still no enquiries about these cats, alas. Gina, who's dealing with these, tells me that even kittens are difficult to find homes for at the moment, hopefully that'll pick up when people return from holidays. (http://209.85.48.12/9485/155/emo/luck.gif)

Subject to a homecheck, Willows got a new home. Just two to go! (http://209.85.48.12/9485/155/emo/luck.gif)

Woo Hoo ... fingers crossed it all goes well for Willow and I'm sure it won't be long before the other two find a forever home as well.
-
Just catching up and have everything crossed that Willow's homecheck goes well xx
They are all gorgeous and I love black and whites :Luv:

I've just been told that the homecheck for Willow went well, and she'll be going to her new home tomorrow! :cheer:
Sadly no enquiries about the other two yet - let's hope there'll be someone wanting a cat coming home from holiday soon. (http://209.85.48.12/9485/155/emo/luck.gif)

Very good news about Willow, she seems to be settling in well, and there's been a promising enqiry about Millie (hopefully more news tomorrow). Only a tentative enquiry about Harry, and we won't know more for a few weeks, after the people showing an interest come back from holiday. Hopefully he'll not have to be penned up while waiting for his forever home.
-
Just Harry to find a home for now.
Millie will be going to her new home tomorrow evening, and hopefully she'll get on with the cat that's already there.
-
Wooooo hoooooooooooo :cheer: that's great news ;D
Everything crossed here that Harry finds a loving forever home soon xxx
