Title: ^Tom^ :'(
Post by: Sarah (seldom_use) on June 13, 2007, 20:14:40 PM: Came home earlier on to find Tom lying peacefully on the floor, he wouldn't wake up :'(

Took him straight to the vets, he was pronounced dead. I couldn't even stay. The vet will contact us tomorrow to let us possibley know whats happened.

He was only a baby :'(

I know it's no comfort but at least he was at home and not outside when it happened. My heart goes out to you babe.

he said there are no outright signs as to what could have caused this and without a p/m they won't be able to give a specific diagnosis.
he said it's more than likely been an undiagnosed cardiac problem, maybe a murmer.

i don't want him to do the p/m, i would like to bury him and see him before i do it and i don't want his wee body to be disturbed so i'd rather they didn't do it. i will go and pick my baby up later on and let him rest peacefully.

mark - he was only 9 months :'(

A similar thing happened to a friend of mine - the vet suspected heart problems.

IT is so much harder to deal with when it is unexpected like this, and I Can't imagine how much worse it is when they are so young. THank goodness you have the other two too keep you going just now and i'm sure they will be great giving you lots of hugs knowing their mummy is so upset.
