Just had another phone call, same area as the gingers, and the grey kitties and the dog, and the bad eared one :tired: A cat in a woman's garden this morning, ultra, ultra skinny......she's convinced somethings wrong with it :censored: Apparently owner has been in hospital 8 months, someone is meant to be feeding the cat and they go up approx once a week if that :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored:

Aww, the poor baby. We have had a lot of phone calls this week - think we got offered 7 kittens and 2 adults just in one day!!

This is shocking.....8 months in hosp and possibly having to scrounge for food for that long....poor kitty & of course poor you Dawn :hug:

I was at woodgreen today and they were packed to the rafters :(
Dont know what is going on as suddenly just seems to have gone mad !

Its the after kitten rush, I guess. Cats that have been dumped cos there is s kitten in the house and kittens that dont live up to expectations or that were surplus to requirements without a home :'(

I've just been to see the poor little thing :'( :'( Looks to be quite an elderly cat, very, very skinny but huge belly and he absolutely hums :sick: :sick: The problem I've got is someone is meant to be looking after him but he needs to see a vet. I'm gonna take the greys and the bad eared one in in the morning and then when I pick them up in the evening, I'll pick the ginger up to take him in as well and get Sean to check him over. I will have to put a note through the door and ask the niece to phone me and take it from there :censored: :censored:

Well I may have number 10 on the way........ A friends neighbours daughter has a habit of buying cute little baby things and then getting bored. Last year she bought 2 kittens that lasted 4 months and I found a home for them she has had hamsters, gerbils and a guinea pig all of which she has got bored with and now all have homes............she has a sweet little kitten who is 12 weeks old. SHE DOES NOT WANT HER >:( >:( >:( I so want to get hold of her and give her a slap

No I think she will end up having a forever home with me and Mine :hug: :hug: :hug: :hug: :hug: Im just a little worried it might upset the relationship Elle and Daisy have or maybe they might like a little playmate

Had a phone call off the neighbour that took this poor cat in yesterday. Apparently, he got really ill last night and was taken to the vets, they had to put him to sleep as he'd gone into Liver failure and he was also full of worms :'( :'( :'( :'( The only consolation is, if she hadn't had got hold of him yesterday, he would probably have died last night out in the rain.

How very very sad :( :( :( but at least the little darling didnt die alone and cold and now at Rainbow bridge has lots of friends and people to care for him

This is so sad. I don't understand people who treat animals as objects and not as little loveable beings to care for. Why are the little girls parents allowing her to acquire and discard so many animals, smudge? They should give her a teddy bear or something inanimate and cuddly.
I feel guilty if I haven't cuddled my two for a few hours! And they let me know it!

Hippykitty she is 24 years old and doesnt live at home, it really makes me angry though as its all too easy to just cast them aside like an old pair of trousers...........they should cherish them and anyone buying a pet should only get one if its a forever home unless circumstances are the reason
