Hello everyone!
Pickle is currently urinating on the front door mat of our new house. We moved in 2 weeks ago and she has been pretty stressed out by the move (understandably) and has been urinating. This is starting to cause arguments between me and the oh because of the smell. I understand why she is doing it and am a bit more patient with her whereas the oh is getting increasingly annoyed by the smell (which i get as its not nice).
Im looking to get something that will get rid of the smell. I know there are some home made remodies around but i cant remember what they are.
Also, how do i make stop this. I know that its something that cant be helped straight off but there must be something I can do....
Any ideas??

Urinator is very good: http://www.robharvey.com/urine-remover.htm
Either that or wash the area with biological washing powder.

i'd personally put the litter tray there til she settles in.....poor you

Simple Solution is really good. Just make sure you soak the area really thoroughly with it (I usually do it again a day later to make sure)

Is urinator better than simple? - it should be as it works out nearly 4 x the price!
I pay £5.95 for 950ml of simple solution in PAH (even cheaper if you buy a gallon from SMS supplies)
compared to £9.95 for 500ml of urinator.

Ruths suggestion of a tray is good idea, i would leave the other trays(s) as normal and put an extra one there.
If shes only doing it on the door mat, to me says shes worried about intruders comming in. Is there a cat flap there?
Have you got feliway? A plug in and then spray the area would help.
Maybe shutting her in one room and starting again with intros of the rest of the house, if your room lay out is suitable.
I use simple solution or a bio powder followed by a spirit. The bio powder would please your OH. ;D
If she doesnt stop soon i would consult a behaviourist before it becomes a permanent habit.

I think simple solution is pretty good, although I've never had much in the way of urine to clean up (mainly vomit with mine!). Alternatively a solution of biological washing powder followed by a spritz of surgical spirit when dry should do the job.
