Hiya,
if you've followed my story a bit, you'll know that I'm breaking up with my partner and that I'm taking the cat. He was very upset about that (and at some point wanted to keep her). Well on wednesday, while I was still in France, He went to a rescue and got a black and white 5 months old female he called Hannah (for 'Hannah and her sisters'). She's at his parents right now because Mia didn't take too kindly to her, and as we should be moving on monday (fingers crossed) there wasn't much point in trying to get them used to each other.
Gary was very naive though, and thought that they would be best friends and eat out of the same bowl within a couple of hours  After a sleepless night, he took the little one to his mum and dad's. It seems that she was badly neglected in her early life, and is starved of affection :(
I am sooooo happy for him. I was feeling guilty and quite upset about the whole thing, but now he'll have a little companion too :Luv:

I am glad he has got a companion, but he really should have waited till next week.

Oh yes, I entirely agree with that. I think he was very depressed and it was a bit impulsive

That's great Deborah. So pleased for you that he'll have a munchkin of his own to keep him company. He seems to have good intentions so this is good for you. Hope Mia is pleased to see you ;)

Hiya Deborah, was thinking about you the other day..hope you are bearing up well and feel better having been with your parents for a few days.

Thanks Lynn, yeah, I'm ok. When I was over in France, I did almost nothing but listen to Leonard Cohen, that cheered me up ;D (I looooove Leonard Cohen....). Yes, Mia was very happy to see me, she's a little darling :Luv:
Ruth: yes he does have good intentions, he loves cats now (he never had a pet as a child, I taught him everything ;)). He said it was upsetting at the rescue because he wanted all the cats. He went with a friend of his who knew the place, and who, even though he onbly came to give Gary directions, went home with a huge white cat :Luv:

Good to see you back Deborah, I think it's lovely that he's adopted Hannah. Hope the move goes well on Monday ;D
