Post by: Gwen on May 23, 2007, 22:23:01 PM
I baught this product for my cats on monday and opened it today and thaught to myself, never on this earth will they eat the vegetables in it   as I have before now baught go-cat with tuna and herring or rabbit and turkey with vegetables and guess whats always left?  Yes the vegetables part therefore obviously I need to teach my cats to eat their greens  :evillaugh:

Any of your cats by anychance eat this product and the veggies too or eat even vegetables?

My  lot won't eat any food with vegetables in it - not even the meat bit. I think the makers do it to appeal to us, not the cats  :evillaugh:

Maybe if they did a leek version, your cats might eat it?  :evillaugh:

(sorry, had to say it  :evillaugh: - hope you don't mind  ;) )

My lot aren't fussy either, they can't afford to be,its either eat what you got or starve, sorry I am not a kind of owner who'll go around spending £££££££ on food they MIGHT eat, does that make me a bad owner? :shy:    No wonder Grwndi goes up the road for his tidbits off the neighbours

My Persian loves spring greens and will pull leaves out of the rabbits' mouths and run off with them.   He also begs for it (waves his paw in the air) when he sees me opening a bag - cabbage does not have a happy effect on his fluffy bloomers though so it is strictly rationed  :evillaugh:

I bet it doesn't and I don't envy you having to groom him if he does have a bit more than he is rationed

Both of mine will try pretty much any vegetable, cooked or raw, but Monkey's favourite is rocket and Poppy's is carrot or baby spinach leaves. Monkey goes mental if he smells me opening a bag of rocket, and it's pretty much the only thing he will beg for. And if I've been eating it, he will sniff around my mouth and try to lick my lips.

The other day, both cats were fighting over a bowl of mixed herb salad... However, it was MY salad!  >:(

I just looked it up and it says the full translation is "Saint Mary's Church in the hollow of white hazel near a rapid whirlpool and the Church of Saint Tysilio near the red cave."

Hahaha!  I've just been out in the garden to rescue my rocket which I'd thought was being eaten by slugs!  But maybe I'm wrong ....
