Had a phone call yesterday from a lady whose neighbour is moving tomorrow and can't take his 3 cats with him. Called round today to see them and to get some piccies. I'm not sure of the ages but the 2 youngsters he said are about 9 months old   They look to be about 5 months and I'm not sure of the older one. All are absolutely gorgeous :Luv: :Luv: :Luv: When I got there, they were leaping at the door, they were that hungry bless them :'( I gave them 2 tins of food and a large bowl of Proplan and they wolfed the tinned food down like they'd never eaten before :'( :'( They are all unneutered but will be booked into the vets as soon as I can get them in......not sure about the little ones though as I'm not convinced they are old enough :sneaky: I've decided I'm going to try and rehome the little one's together and the older one either on his own or preferably with one of mine depending how he gets on. If I could home all 3 together, that would be fab but sadly, very unlikely :( I'm hoping to go and pick them up tomorrow......I'll have to have a sort out :tired:

oooh what stunning gingers, I love the "cream" one he looks like a real cuddle monster. I'm sure you'll have no trouble finding homes for them.
-
They are all a little nervous but do like their fussies, I think given a few days, they will be totally different cats. They have been couped up in a tiny room for god knows how long but I won't go into that :censored: :censored: All that will change after tomorrow.
If anyone is interested in these gorgeous babes, they are in Flintshire, North Wales.
-
They are gorgeous, am sure you wont have much trouble, gingers seem to be popular.
-
That's what I'm hoping Des ;)
I meant to add as well, these babes will be microchipped and vaccinated when they go in for the chop.
-
My friend has offered to take these little beauties for rehoming, in exchange, I'm taking one of her ferals which I'm hoping can be taken to the stables :sneaky: They will still be available for adoption and once they've settled, I will get some better piccies of them to go on my rehoming page.
Modified to add I know this sounds awful but the neighbour to the guy has just been on the phone, and she was asking if the guy could keep the big cat   I have refused, I had to explain that this guy really cannot keep any cats, and it's in their best interest to find a loving home elsewhere. He has 3 dogs as well, one unspayed which again makes my blood boil. This is another person that I have seen in the vets numerous times and always with different dogs and cats, but can't even afford the basics. I have got a voucher here which I'm going to give to the vets for him to take her in and have her done once he's moved.........at least then, I won't get a phone call to say she's had 10 pups and he needs somewhere for them :censored:
-
I've now picked these gorgeous babes up just in case he decided to take the bigger cat with him :evillaugh: They are all very skitty when held but all seem in good health apart from being a little on the skinny side. They will be going over to my friends this evening and then vet checked etc tomorrow. The guy has apparently been told by the council he can take his dogs but is not allowed cats. She will be checking on him monthly to make sure he has stuck to this agreement otherwise he is out. I have also warned him, if he takes any more cats in I will report him........I do feel sorry for him but at the end of the day, if you can't afford to get them neutered and their life consists of being stuck in a small dingy concrete floored space with no air, then sorry, he doesn't deserve them. I am so annoyed as these kitties could the last few months, have been loved and well cared for but instead, because some idiot liked little kittens, they have missed out on so much :censored: :censored: They hadn't even got a toy between them, they are only part litter trained and were pooing on the concrete........and for what, so he could stare at them through his glass panelled door :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored:
He was in tears yesterday when I went round but I hate to say it but it had no affect on me. I get sick to death of hearing the same crap excuses :censored: :censored: :censored:
I have also just had a phone call from a lady wanting 3 kittens, I've mentioned these 3 to her and she's having a chat with her hubby and will let me know tonight :)

We've got our fingers and paws crossed Dawn!

I'm so pleased these babes have come your way, and that they get the loving home they deserve, poor little darlings.
They all look adorable, hope the lady wanting 3 kits falls in love with them and they can all stay together ;D

I hope so too.....it would be such a shame to split them :'( My friend tends to rehome kittens in ones if that's what an owner wants, whereas all mine go in pairs. I'm going to make sure if the lady doesn't want them and my friend rehomes them, that the two little one's will at least stay together.
-
Will be crossing fingers tonight!
-
Sadly, the lady has rang and her hubby said they are too old :sigh: The eldest cat Tigger is approx 2 years old so still a baby really :Luv: :Luv: The other two babes are called Blake and Elvis :heeee heeee: I've got them booked in at the vets in the morning now, so I may as well keep the appointment so if anyone is interested in these gorgeous guys, you can either pm me or email catrescueflintshire@f2s.com
-
The 3 boys have now all had the chop, microchipped and had their first jabs.........I'm just going to pick them :Luv: :Luv:
-
Hope they're all OK, give them a little tummy tickle from me!
Such a shame the lady yesterday decided against taking them ...... however with those little faces I doubt they'll be looking for a home for long and they'll find a loving slave/s in no time at all ;D
-
AWWW DD such beautiful babes - I so hope they can stay together. Wish I could take the 3 of them.
I have just looked at Zubin snoozing on the cushion and the love I have for him is emense, when I read stories like this it makes me love my babes all the more. xxxxx

All these babes are fine, Elvis had the runs earlier but I think it was more to do with stress than anything. They had a nice quiet evening and all had something to eat. I'll take some more piccies of them tomorrow once they've settled down again. I will be putting them on my rehoming page and I'm going to try and get a home for the 3 of them together, if not, I will rehome the younger ones and I will see how Tigger gets on with Chloe.......he seems to have such a lovely nature, and him and Chloe would be well suited in my opinion so I will see how it goes. I've decided against taking them to my friends, I really can't see them being here long and at least here, they can get cuddles off the kids as well ;) All the vet nurses and vets fell in love with them.......they thought they were gorgeous and thought Tigger was exceptionally stunning :Luv: :Luv: It makes a nice change when they compliment the cats I take in, usually they are cursing them :evillaugh:

Update on these gorgeous babes:
They have all settled in brilliantly and seem to be revelling in the attention ;D I'm really pleased with their progress, as they've been through so much and I would have thought they would have taken longer to get them to trust me. Tigger seems to be the more nervous of the 3, but last night he came over willingly for a fuss whereas before he tended to shy away from me. When I went to pick them up last week, he got out into the garden, the guy went out to bring him in again and he attacked him :evillaugh: He said this was the norm for him, and if he picked him up, he tended to think he was going to do something to him.........I'm a little bit concerned as to why he was attacking him as since he's been here, even when I've picked him up, he's not attempted to go for me once :Dont know: I'm wondering whether he may have done something to him or maybe it's my suspicious mind :sneaky:
Anyway, they all seem really happy and relaxed, they are eating well and love having their fusses.......whoever ends up with these 3 will be very lucky "slaves" :Luv: :Luv:
-
Aw, its so good to hear they're settling down ....... it does make you wonder what that guy had done to Tigger to make him lash out - I have a suspicious mind also :(
Anyways, we need more piccies pleassseeeeeeeeeeee :wow:
-
Here's some more piccies of the gorgeous lads :Luv: :Luv:

Yay, more piccies ;D
They really are gorgeous looking cats, I really hope someone falls in love with them soon and they can find their fabulous forever home together.
-
They are all absolute stunners and they will make someone very happy :Luv: :Luv: Tigger is the shyer of the three, but he's getting a little more confidant now. Blake and Elvis have been charging round like idiots and have been jumping on each other from a great distance  They all seem extremely happy which is the main thing and I'm sure they'll come on in leaps and bounds when they get their forever home :Luv:
-
A quick update on these babes :Luv: Blake and Elvis are an absolute handful but gorgeous with it, they really need someone who will be able to spend lots of time with them as they are full of energy and quite demanding. Tigger is quite a laid back lad until he has a toy :evillaugh: He gets quite possessive as Lainey and I have discovered, and he will growl for England if any of the others try to get it off him  I have decided, I will try and rehome Blake and Elvis together and Tigger possibly with another..........I would love to keep all 3 together, but I think it will be difficult rehoming 3 in one go and it would be a shame for Blake and Elvis to miss out because of this, as they do need the attention.

Fingers crossed they get the wonderful forever home they deserve very soon.

Fingers crossed they get the wonderful forever home they deserve very soon.
I hope they do too, they've both wore me and Lainey out this week.......I need another week to recover
-
Good luck to Blake and Elvis(bloody stupid names if you ask me )
I really hope they find the fantastic home they trully deserve, they will certainly provide lots of entertainment for the lucky new owner. Gorgous and full of life xxx
-
Good luck to Blake and Elvis(bloody stupid names if you ask me )
:what: How can you call them stupid names when you christened my gorgeous little white babes Quasi and Modo :slap: :evillaugh:
-
Quasi amd Modo are brilliant names and suit them to a T
-
I've got someone coming to see Blake and Elvis on Monday  Only snag is, she's also going to our local CP over the weekend so I'm hoping that these babes don't miss out :tired: She did say though that she wouldn't be making any decisions until she'd met them so :wish: that these babes win her over :Luv: :Luv: They are two fab boys and will certainly keep a new "slave" on their toes :evillaugh: but they'll also give them so much love and pleasure. Blake insists on snuggling up to me in bed at night and spends most of it, nuzzling my face :tired: so that's the other reason I'm hoping someone will snap them up, then I will finally get some sleep ;)
-
Fingers crossed! :yesss:
-
I'm doing a homecheck for these guys later on today so fingers crossed it will all go well for them. I did have someone phoning about them again the other day but she lived on a Main Road and didn't really want a homecheck doing >:( I said I wasn't prepared to rehome where my cats would be splattered on the road and there is a reason why rescues won't rehome in certain situations. She then phoned me back to say they had had a chat and decided they wanted indoor cats.......yeah right :sneaky: Needless to say, my kitties won't be going there, as I think once they get them, they'll be let out and the inevitable will happen.
-
Hope it goes well and they get a new mummy soon and you can get a sleep ,
they are stunning, they deserve a forever home , fingers and paws crossed for all of you
-
Fingers crossed for them.
-
Blake and Elvis have now got their forever home :yayyy: :yayyy: :yayyy: Blake was quite nervous but I'm sure he'll be fine :Luv: :Luv: Elvis isn't bothered in the slightest and was exploring within minutes which is great to see, he's a confidant little buggar but Blake will need that little bit more time before he feels relaxed. Fingers crossed everything will work out for them :Luv: :Luv:
-
It's really weird but in a good way, I've just made a butty and there's no footprints in the butter on my bread :evillaugh:

Great news, well done

Just had a phone call off Blake and Elvis's mummy and she's absolutely over moon with them :Luv: She said they've settled in fantastically and are both extremely loving.........ohhh, how I miss the little tinkers :'( Anyway, good news is she's thinking about taking Tigger on as well ;D She's going to let me know in a few days but she said she thinks he looks gorgeous and would really like them all to be reunited :) I'm a little apprehensive only because he can be a bit of a buggar and has jumped on a couple of mine whilst they've been sleeping and beaten them up :sneaky: The reason for this could be that I have quite a few cats so may be alright where there isn't too many. I've told her if she decides to take him and he starts his capers, I will take him back so there shouldn't be any problems.......I will keep you posted ;)
-
Hazel phoned earlier and her and her hubby have decided they want to give Tigger a chance :yayyy: :yayyy: :yayyy: I'm going to drop him off sometime this week to be reunited with his pals, I really hope everything works out for him bless him......he deserves it :Luv: :Luv:

:yayyy: :cheer: :cheer: :yayyy: Great news ;)
