Title: Kink in tail?
Post by: Blue Rabbit on April 17, 2014, 22:56:06 PM
I noticed this evening that Archie has an ever so slight kink near the tip of his tail. I've never seen it before and it's definitely not his fur sitting funny as both OH and I checked it. Neither of us felt anything unusual but he wasn't happy with us touching it at all.

Just now, Archie was in the tunnel/tube thing that's on the tree and I heard a squeak. Jerry was sat behind him with Archie's tail in his paws. Is it possible, given how rough they play, that Jerry has caused the kink in Archie's tail?

I checked it this morning and the kink was gone!!

There's still a teeeeny tiny lump, but nothing like there was last night. He wasn't in any noticeable pain last night, even after me and OH felt it (he was just uncomfortable), he was whipping it around the way he normally does with no problems and is still doing so this morning.

As they have the vets a week Monday anyway, I think I'll leave it til then. It doesn't seem to be hurting him, he's still happily playing and is currently sunning himself on the windowsill.
