Title: Trying To Catch Feral Kitten
Post by: iamme492 on March 09, 2014, 19:05:06 PM
I Caught the mom and move her.   We had the baby but he's smart and escaped.  I feed him daily and usually see him, but will he ever wander into that cage again or have we blown it?  I have a place for hum to live.  Any advice?

I would keep trying cos food only in the cage he will come and get.

Good luck

How long has it been since you caught his Mum?  I think patience is definitely the key, and perserverance is likely to pay off here.  Good luck with your efforts.  Hopefully, soon, he will take the bait.

keep feeding him and put it in the trap without setting the trap and have both ends free. try something really irresistible in the trap (and stinky like tuna) and hopefully you will be able to out fox him! As a kitten he may well be smart but he will be thinking of his belly more than anything!
good luck x x
